Claims

[Claims for Utility Model Registration] 1. A fixed part 4, and a shaft that can be opened and closed with respect to the fixed part 4 so as to cover the whetstone 3 in cooperation with the fixed part 4 and to project a part of the whetstone 3. A grinding wheel cover for a surface grinding machine, characterized in that it is constructed of a lid member 8 with a lid attached thereto, and that both sides of the grinding wheel 3 can be opened when the lid member 8 is in an open state. 2. The grindstone cover for a surface grinder according to claim 1, wherein a part of the lid member 8 constitutes both side wall parts 9 and 10 that cover both sides of the grindstone 3. 3. The grindstone cover for a surface grinder according to claim 1 or 2, wherein a part of the lid member 8 forms a wall portion 6 that covers a side opposite to the protruding side of the grindstone 3.
