【特許請求の範囲】 1、プラスチック管端部に膨出して形成された球殻状の
嵌合用膨出部に、該膨出部の内径に略等しい球面状の外
面を有したプラスチック製リング状の管挿入用アダプタ
を、ゴムリングを介して回転自在に嵌入する自在継手の
アダプタ嵌入方法において、前記膨出部の外壁面の直径
方向に対向する上下及び左右の部分を相対的に押圧して
その開口部を弾性的に変形させ、該膨出部の開口部より
前記アダプタをその外壁面の側から嵌入させ、しかる後
前記膨出部の押圧を解除してアダプタを半回転させるこ
