These wrapping papers have been used for many years because they have high barrier properties and a beautiful appearance, and have properties suitable for use in packaging machines. However, in recent years, the price of aluminum foil has risen significantly due to various factors, making it extremely difficult to use it as wrapping paper primarily for economic reasons. Therefore, there is a demand for economical packaging materials that have the same characteristics as conventional packaging materials. The current situation is that this is increasing.

However, when metal-deposited paper is used as wrapping paper inside the board gum, since the base material of metal-deposited paper is paper, the surface condition is rougher than that of synthetic resin film.
As a result, it is not possible to form a smooth, glossy and beautiful metal vapor deposited film, and since it contains water, there are problems in removing water during the vapor deposition process and the adhesion of metal particles is weak. These problems have been solved. In order to do this, it was necessary to use a base paper coated with a filler on the surface, which caused problems such as increased cost. Furthermore, there is a latent problem in that it lacks adaptability to automatic packaging machines, which is the most important requirement for wrapping paper inside gum sheets. In other words, metallized paper lacks the so-called conformability (bending flexibility) necessary for packaging compared to the aluminum foil-laminated paper mentioned above, and the bending flexibility of the base paper during high-speed packaging is poor. There is a problem in that it is extremely difficult to carry out automatic packaging smoothly due to the remarkable stiffness. For these various reasons, metallized paper has not yet been applied to packaging inside gum boards, despite its expected economic advantages.

It is a thing,
In the case of metal-deposited paper for packaging inside gum sheets, the cross-sectional structure is shown enlarged in Fig.
A metal vapor deposited film 3, which was separately formed smoothly on a smooth synthetic resin film, is transferred onto the surface of the film via an adhesive 2, and a protective layer 6 which also serves as a release agent for the synthetic resin film is formed on the surface. , characterized in that a wax 4 is applied to the back surface of the atom 1, and in the manufacturing method, one surface of the stretched synthetic resin film 5 is provided with mold releasability to the synthetic resin. After applying a mold release agent 6' made by adding a substance, high-purity aluminum is vacuum-deposited on the coated surface to form a metal deposited film 3, and an adhesive 2 is applied to the surface of this deposited film 3 or the surface of the atoms 1. The mold release agent 6' is made by adding wax, ester, etc. to give mold release properties to a synthetic resin such as a mold release agent 6'.
0.2 to 5 g/m 2 , and high-purity aluminum is vacuum-deposited on the coated surface to form a metal vapor deposition film 3 with a thickness of 150 to 600 Å. Subsequently, urethane-based, Apply adhesive 2 such as acetic acid vinyl emulsion type or polyethylene type, and make it with a basis weight of 14 to 40 g/
m 2 base paper 1 and the base paper 1 are pasted together using a well-known adhesive technique such as dry lamination, glue lamination, or polylamination, and when the adhesion is completed, only the synthetic resin film 5 described above is peeled off and the base paper 1 is bonded.
A metal vapor deposited film 3 and a mold release/protection layer 6 are transferred and formed on the base paper 1 via an adhesive 2, and then a wax 4 of 1 to 15 g/m 2 is applied to the back surface of the base paper 1, and a metal vapor deposited film is further applied as necessary. After the transfer formation in step 3 or after the application of wax 4, stamping is performed using an embossing roller to form a metal-deposited paper for packaging inside the gum board. In this specification, the wax 4 includes not only those whose main component is paraffin and those containing other additives, but also those having properties similar to these waxes, such as ethylene vinyl acetate. .

A releasing/protective layer is formed by adding a substance to the base paper 1, and the wax 4 is applied to the back surface of the base paper 1. Therefore, the metal vapor deposited film 3 has a smooth surface due to transfer formation. It is extremely beautiful, and its surface is protected with a protective layer, and wax 4 is applied to the back side of the base paper 1, so the resilience during folding is effectively reduced, and the paper The physical properties of metal-metalized paper, which was considered difficult to automatically wrap for gum internal packaging, have been improved, and the paper has the revolutionary effect of being applicable to high-speed automatic packaging machines.
