This reduces the thermal load in the high temperature state and maintains the same strength. For example, a cooling part is formed in the piston crown (Japanese Unexamined Utility Model Publication No. 80-110843), and an oil reservoir is provided inside the piston (Japanese Unexamined Utility Model Publication No. 80-15345).
Publication No. 3) is known. Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 3, it is known that an annular pipe 2 is cast into the head portion 1a of the piston 1, and cooling is achieved by circulating oil inside the pipe 2. On the other hand, since an iron piston pin is inserted into the piston pin boss 3 formed on the side wall of the piston l, the aluminum material forming the pin boss portion is worn out. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 4, an iron pipe 4 is sometimes cast into the inner peripheral surface of the pin boss 3.

Oil flows into the inner pipe 2 through the passage hole 5, and plays the role of cooling the head portion 1a.In addition, in the configuration shown in FIG. prevent.

The pipe 2 cast into the portion 1a alone cannot provide enough strength to withstand the force, and therefore a more durable piston has been desired.

The piston 6 can be cooled by the oil flowing into the steel material), and the piston pin inserted into the pin boss 8 is supported by the cast pipe 9 and slides thereon. Moreover, the tensile strength of the pin boss 8 portion of the piston 6 can be increased by joining the casting pipe 9 and the cooling casting pipe 7 (or plate-shaped steel material).

An iron cooling casting pipe (steel material) 7 is cast along the inner circumference of the head portion 6a, and an iron casting pipe 9 is fitted into the inner peripheral surface of the pin boss 8. The cast pipe 9 and the cooling cast pipe 7 are cast in a joined state at the time of casting, and at this time, an oil passage hole lO and a piston ring groove 11 communicating with the cooling cast pipe 7 are formed. .
