Abstract

PURPOSE:To illuminate a portion near at hand and make unnecessary the cost of batteries and battery exchange by providing a power accumulating means for accumulating generated power of a solar cell, and an illuminating means using the power accumulating means as its power supply. CONSTITUTION:Power that a solar cell 2 generates is accumulated in a secondary battery, and when a switch 6 is pushed and on, power is fed from the secondary battery to an illuminating means 3 so that the illuminating means 3 is lighted. Light emitted by the illuminating means 3 is efficiently collected by a light reflecting member 4 and a light collecting member 5 so that a place where writing is performed is illuminated. The use of generated power of the semi-permanent solar cell as the power supply of illumination makes battery exchange work and the cost of batteries unnecessary and the cost for maintenance is not required.
