Claims

[Claims for Utility Model Registration] An AC adapter body, a DC terminal to which DC is supplied from an AC to DC converter that converts AC to DC, and a control for the supply of AC from the AC to DC converter. A connector is provided with a switch that connects the connector, a terminal that fits into the DC terminal of the connector and receives DC from the DC terminal, and a conductive member that fits into the switch of the connector. When the DC plug is inserted into the connector of the AC adapter main body, the terminal of the DC plug fits into the DC terminal of the connector, and then the member of the DC plug is connected to the switch of the connector. When mated, AC is supplied to the AC/DC converter, and when the DC plug is removed from the connector, the member of the DC plug is removed from the switch of the connector to cut off the supply of AC to the AC/DC converter, and then the DC plug is removed from the connector.
