【考案の詳細な説明】
(産業上の利用分野)
この考案は、主として外面防食被覆鋼管及び鋳
鉄製管継手からなる配管継手部の防食カバーに関

(従来の技術)

覆鋼管41との接合部に防食テープ52を巻き回
すことにより管継手部を防食する方法が従来より
実施されている。また、ボルト、ナツト等で固着
された配管用ジヨイント部を中間囲包材で被覆し
た後に、加熱収縮性の合成樹脂製筒状外包材で外
包し、外側から加熱としてシールする配管用ジヨ
イント部のカバー方法が特開昭60−49191号公報

(問題点を解決するための手段)
この考案は上述の問題点に鑑み、極めて簡単な
方法により配管継手部に完全な防食性能を付与す
ることのできる防食カバーを提供することを目的
としてなされたものであつて、その要旨は配管継
手部を外包する筒状のカバー本体とこのカバー本
体の内周面に設けられたゲル状の充填材層とから
なる防食カバーであつて、前記カバー本体は、配
管継手部の外周形状との間に間〓を有する内周面
形状を有し、内外に貫通する複数の通孔が分散配
置され、軸方向に少なくとも1カ所で拡開連結可
能となされ、前記充填材層は前記カバー本体と配
管継手部との間〓を充満するように充分な量とな
されていることを特徴とする防食カバーに存す
