A trim attachment structure for attaching a trim to a stud with a circumferential groove fixed to a body panel of a vehicle, etc., comprising a cylindrical body provided on the side of the trim and extending vertically outward from the attachment surface side of the trim; a clip body adapted to be mounted within said cylinder during installation and having stud locking means at its front end for receiving and engaging said stud; and said clip means when said clip body is within said cylinder. a guide clip means which can be temporarily secured to the outer end of the trim member and which is housed within the cylindrical body in the fully installed state.
