Claims

[Scope of Claim for Utility Model Registration] In a positioning mechanism for a print head that outputs a signal according to image information on the surface of a rotatably supported image carrier, the print head is positioned so as to face the print head by an elastic member. A roller supported by a support member and brought into contact with the surface of the image carrier on the printing head to determine the facing distance, and a positioning shaft coaxial with the roller are provided to support the image carrier.
