Abstract

PURPOSE:To remove a water drop when it is attached to the glass part of a photographing window and to execute excellent photographing by providing a water drop removing plate having an aperture part at the center thereof on the front surface of the glass part of a water-proof case with the aid of making a gap to an extent that a capillary phenomenon occurs. CONSTITUTION:A simplified water-proof camera is formed by housing a rectangular parallelopiped-like simplified camera or a disposable camera C provided with a photographing lens L having a small aperture diameter in the water-proof case 1. The glass part 3 is provided on the part of the front wall 1a of the water-proof case 1 which is positioned at the front surface of the photographing lens L of the housed camera C as the photographing window 2 under a watertight state so as to make the center of the glass part coincident with the photographing optical axis of the camera. The disk-like water drop removing plate 5 having the aperture part 5a at the center thereof is provided on the front surface of the window glass 3 by making the gap (d) to an extent where the capillary phenomenon occurs. Besides, a communicating path 7 which communicates a gap part 4 with the outside of an attachment base 6 is formed to the attachment base 6 on the outside of the gap part 4. Therefore, the water drop attached to the front surface of the photographing window 2 is sucked by the gap part 4 with the aid of the capillary phenomenon and removed.

In order to achieve the above object, in the present invention, a capillary tube is installed on the front surface of the glass part of the photographing window provided on the front wall of the waterproof housing or waterproof case of a camera equipped with a photographing lens with a small aperture diameter. A water droplet removal plate having an opening with a predetermined diameter in the center is arranged so as to surround the required photographing optical path with a gap that causes the phenomenon, and a water droplet removal plate is attached to the outer periphery of the above gap. A communication path is provided for communication between the outside of the base and the gap, thereby configuring a water droplet prevention device for the photographing window.

If the simple waterproof camera configured as above is exposed to water and water droplets adhere to the glass part of the photographing window,
The size of the water droplets is almost constant, and the inner diameter of the opening of the water droplet removal plate is made with a small diameter to correspond to a simple camera. Since the water droplets are large in size, when they adhere to the glass surface, they partially hang around the periphery of the opening, causing capillary action between the glass part of the photographing window and the water droplet removal plate located in front of it. Since the water droplets are formed in a gap that is large enough to cause a close-up image, the water droplets are attracted to the gap around the opening by capillary action, and the water droplets on the photographing optical path in front of the photographing window glass are removed, preventing out-of-focus during close-up. Ru. In this case, the opening in the center of the water droplet removal plate communicates with the outside of the water droplet removal plate mounting base via the communication path on the outer periphery through the gap, so water droplets are smoothly sucked into the gap without stagnation. In addition, the communication passage on the outside of the water droplet removal plate also serves as an escape port to the outside for subsequently entering water droplets.

In the above, if the front surface of the glass part of the photographing window is coated with a water droplet prevention agent, water droplets can be more efficiently discharged from the photographing optical path of the glass part of the photographing window and sucked into the gap.
Evacuation to the outside from the communication path can also be performed satisfactorily.

A waterproof case (1) that accommodates a simple camera or a disposable camera (C) (hereinafter referred to as camera) is made of thermoplastic synthetic resin such as styrene resin. It is a rectangular parallelepiped with an opening on the left-hand side (when viewed from the camera) and a photographing window (2) on the front, and the operation parts such as the shutter button and wind-up knob on the right-hand side are watertight and can be operated from the outside. After storing the camera (C), a side cap is fitted to the opening on the left hand side to maintain watertightness. The housed camera (C) is positioned at a predetermined position by a positioning member such as a projection (not shown). The front wall (1a) of the waterproof case (+) has a photographic window (2) located in front of the photographic lens (L) of the housed camera (C), which is at least multiple times larger than the photographic optical path passing through it. (
A window glass (3) consisting of a colorless and transparent circular glass plate parallel to each other on both sides and having a diameter of a little more than 3 times the diameter of the window glass (3) is watertightly placed close to the photographing lens (L) so that its center coincides with the photographing optical axis of the camera. established in the state. Furthermore, the window glass (3)
In front of the is a thin metal disk-shaped water droplet removal plate (5) which has an opening (5a) of a predetermined diameter in the center that surrounds the photographing optical path with a gap (d) large enough to cause a capillary phenomenon. However, its outer periphery is attached to the front wall (1a) of the case in the shape of a narrow ring surrounding the window glass (3).

Then, a gap (4) of a predetermined width is formed outside the gap (4) in the vertical and horizontal directions of the opening (5a) of the water droplet removal plate.
A total of four communication passages (
7) is formed between the gap (4) and the outside of the mounting base (6), so that the outer periphery of the gap communicates with the outside world (Fig. 1,
(See Figure 2). As a result, the water droplet removal plate opening (5
Since a) communicates with the outside world via the gap (4) and the communication path (7), water droplets adhering to the surface of the window glass (3) in the opening (4)・Smoothly fill the gap (4
) by capillary action (see Figure 3), and
The communication path (7) also serves as an escape port for water in the gap to the outside when water droplets subsequently adhere to the inner glass surface of the opening (5a). In this case, if the front surface of the window glass (3) is coated with a water drop preventive agent (water repellent), water droplets are more effectively discharged from the photographing optical path to the outside through the gap (4).

When using a waterproof camera configured as described above to take pictures at the beach or booze side, if water gets on the waterproof camera and water droplets adhere to the front of the photographing window (2),
As mentioned above, since the water droplet removal plate (5) on the front surface of the window glass (3) has a small aperture opening corresponding to the optical path of the photographic lens (L), the water droplets will inevitably be partially removed. It comes into contact with the periphery of the opening, and due to capillary action, the gap (4)
The water droplets are automatically sucked in and removed from the photographing optical path.

If water droplets adhere to the surface of the window glass (3) through the opening (5a) during photographing, they are first sucked into the gap (4) and placed close to the communication path (7) on the outer periphery of the water droplet removal plate (5). The water (b) in the gap between the parts protrudes to the communication path (7) side and leaks out from the communication path (7), which is in the lower position when shooting (
(see FIG. 4), therefore, it is possible to continue to take good pictures. In addition, since it becomes difficult to touch the photographic window glass surface, the glass surface is less likely to get dirty, and when a water drop preventive agent is used on the glass surface, its effect can be maintained for a long time.

In addition, in the above embodiment, a simple waterproof camera was described in which a simple camera or a disposable camera equipped with a booth-sized photographing lens was housed in a waterproof case. This device can also be used for cameras, and even if the camera housing itself is waterproof, if the camera has a small-diameter photographic lens, this water drop prevention device can be installed on the photographic window as well. Needless to say, various modifications can be made without departing from the spirit of the present invention.

According to the invention as set forth in claim 1, when water droplets suddenly adhere to a camera using a simple waterproof camera, the water droplets are removed by capillary action in the gap in front of the window glass at the periphery of the small-diameter opening of the water droplet removal plate. Since water droplets are automatically sucked and removed from the photographing optical path, it is possible to prevent out-of-focus and always take good photographs.Since it is difficult for hands to touch the glass surface of the photographing window, the glass surface is less likely to get dirty ( Good photographic effects can be maintained, and since the structure is an hour wheel, this device can be attached to a waterproof camera at low cost.
