に渦流室形成用凹所を備えると共に、該凹所内に
位置して該凹所と共に渦流室を形成する凹所を有
してなる渦流室形成部材を嵌着して備え、該渦流
室形成部材の凹所底壁部に渦流室と主燃焼室とを
連通する噴口を貫通形成してなるデイーゼル機関
の渦流室構造において、前記渦流室形成部材の上
部側周壁部をクリアランスをもつて渦流室形成用
凹所に嵌挿させると共に、該渦流室形成部材の底
壁部外周面に張り出して形成したフランジ部を渦
流室形成用凹所に圧入し、前記フランジ部の厚み
を前記噴口が貫通形成される凹所底壁部の厚みよ
りも厚く形成したことを特徴とするデイーゼル機
