Conventionally, devices for artificially creating this type of dusty environment used fans to stir up and stir the dust at the bottom of the container. However, there was not enough wind speed to kick up the dust and maintain a constant dust environment. In addition, since the joint between the bottom of the container and the cylindrical side wall was formed at a right angle, the air flow generated by the fan became stagnate in this part, resulting in the accumulation of dust. Was.

The present invention has the following configuration to achieve the above object. That is, the dust environment generating device according to the present invention includes a rotating air nozzle that generates a rotating flow in a fixed direction on the inner peripheral surface of a sealed cylindrical container, and a bottom blowing air nozzle that blows up dust at the bottom of the container. A plurality of these are arranged alternately, an air escape port with a filter is provided in the ceiling, and a swash plate is provided at the connection between the cylindrical side wall, the bottom, and the ceiling.

As shown in FIG. 1, on the inner circumferential surface of a sealed cylindrical container 1, there is a rotating air nozzle 2 that generates a rotational flow in a fixed direction, and a bottom blowing air nozzle 4 that blows up dust from the container bottom 3. is located.
The rotating air nozzle 2 is connected to the side wall 7 of the container 1.
They are arranged at equal intervals in the circumferential direction of the container 1 (four equally spaced in FIG. 1), and are also provided in multiple stages (four stages in FIG. 1) in the axial direction of the container 1. The rotating air nozzle 2 has a substantially L-shape, and the discharge hole of the substantially L-shaped rotating air nozzle 2 is oriented in the rotation direction of air.

However, the rotating air nozzle 2 closest to the bottom 3 or the ceiling 5 has its discharge hole on the side of the bottom 3 or the ceiling 5 so as to generate a flow of air toward the bottom 3 or the ceiling 5 in the direction of the rotational flow. It is set at an angle. In addition, the bottom blowing air nozzles 4 are arranged at equal intervals in the circumferential middle of the rotating air nozzles 2 on the bottom 3 side (in FIG. 1, they are arranged at four equal intervals in the middle of the rotating air nozzles 2). , its shape is such that the discharge holes are oriented to create a flow of air towards the bottom 3. An air escape port 6 with a filter is provided in the ceiling 5 to prevent dust from coming out.
The dust concentration inside the container 1 is kept constant. A swash plate 8 is provided at the connection portion between the cylindrical side wall 7, the bottom portion 3, and the ceiling portion 5 to prevent airflow from stagnation.

The device of the present invention is designed to reduce the amount of dust kicked up from the road surface by the bearing part of the shaft of the wastegate actuator (the bearing part is equipped with a sealing dust cover and an oil seal). Since this is a test for wear behavior, in this example, JIS Z8901 type 3 care sand was used as the worst condition.
Any dust can be used depending on the purpose of the durability test. In addition, in the dust environment generating device of this embodiment, since it takes more than one minute for the dust to settle once it has risen, the compressed air is not discharged all the time, but is discharged for one second every 30 seconds. It was used, but
The discharge conditions such as the discharge pressure of air from the air nozzle (4 to 5 kg/cm 2 was sufficient in this example) can be arbitrarily selected according to the purpose.

Two types of air nozzles, one for rotation and one for bottom spraying, are installed alternately on the inner circumferential surface of the cylindrical container. The resulting rotating flows are superimposed and a composite swirl sulfur is generated. Therefore, dust is kicked up into the container and stirred up evenly.
