あつて、車体検知用のビームセンサを上下に複数
設けて自動車の上面形状を検知する車形検知装置
を備え、この車形検知装置で検知した形状に基づ
き前記洗車処理装置を制御するタイプのものにお
いて、 ビームセンサのビーム信号を透過させる開放さ
れた窓を設けたケース内に、前記複数のビームセ
ンサを前記窓と適宜空間を設けて設置すると共に
、前記ケース内に向けて送風するフアンと、洗車
動作に伴つて前記フアンを駆動させる制御手段と
を備えたことを特徴とする車形検知装置を備えた
洗車機。 (2) 散水ノズル等の洗車処理装置を備え、洗浄
水を用いて自動車の車体を自動洗浄する洗車機で
あつて、車体検知用のビームセンサを上下に複数
設けて自動車の上面形状を検知する車形検知装置
を備え、この車形検知装置で検知した形状に基づ
き前記洗車処理装置を制御するタイプのものにお
いて、 ビームセンサのビーム信号を透過させる開放さ
れた窓を設けたケース内に、前記複数のビームセ
ンサを前記窓と適宜空間を設けて設置すると共に
、前記ケース内に向けて送風するフアンと、前記
ビームセンサにおけるビーム信号の受光感度の低
下を検出する手段と、該検出手段からの検出信号
に基づき前記フアンを駆動させる制御手段とを備
えたことを特徴とする車形検知装置を備えた洗車
機。 (3) 請求項(1)または(2)記載の車形検知装置を
備えた洗車機において、前記フアン送風路にヒー
タを備え、前記ケース内にヒータの通電を伴う温
風の送出を可能としたことを特徴とする車形検知
