(Prior Art) In recent years, a type of packaging in which a collapsible plastic bag or container is placed inside an exterior cardboard box and used for transporting and storing liquids is called Bag in Box. glass bottle,
Compared to tanks, tin cans, etc., they are lighter, stronger, easier to transport and store, and are cheaper, so they are widely used. Recently, products with excellent pressure resistance and chemical resistance have begun to appear by stacking two or more flexible single films, laminated films, or composite films, and are used for various products such as liquid foods and industrial chemicals. Applications are being considered in the field. In particular, in the field of vending machines (dispensers) for soft drinks such as youth and cola, and coffee drinks, collection and storage are not possible using conventional returnable tanks.
The use of bag-in-boxes is being considered since it does not require the hassle of refilling, tank cleaning, and sterilization.

(Problem to be solved by the invention) However, in the case of the bag that is folded and stored inside the outer box of the above-mentioned bag-in-box, when the bag is filled with contents and expanded, the folded When one region is filled with contents and this region expands to a critical point, it rapidly flows into the other folded regions and the bag goes through the process of unfolding, especially when the bag expands to its maximum. Since it is efficient to make the volume at the time and the internal volume of the box approximately the same, when the bag folded inside the narrow box is unfolded as described above, it is held down by the inner surface of the box. Therefore, the crease continues to be subjected to unreasonable force until the pressure reaches its breaking point, and when it reaches its breaking point, it expands all at once against the pressure from the inner surface of the box, which causes localized unreasonable pressure to be applied to the bag body. In addition, there is a high possibility that stress will be concentrated particularly at the creases, and there is a problem in that the film constituting the bag will be damaged at these parts.

This invention was devised in view of the above-mentioned circumstances.
The purpose of this is to be able to store the bag inside the outer box while reducing the area defined by its outer edge, and to avoid excessive local pressure when filling the bag with contents. To provide a bag-in-box bag storage structure that can be smoothly inflated without stress.

(Means for Solving the Problems) In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present invention provides a bag-in box that includes a collapsible bag made of a sheet-like member and an outer box for storing the bag. The bag is characterized in that concentric folds are provided on the upper and lower surfaces of the bag, and the bag is housed in the outer box in a reduced area defined by the outer edge of the bag.

(Function) By the above-mentioned means, the present invention provides concentric folds on the upper and lower surfaces of the bag so that the area defined by the outer edge of the bag can be reduced and the bag can be stored in the outer box. As the body is filled with contents, the concentric folds gradually stretch and expand, so no undue pressure is applied locally.

The bag 2 is shown in an unfilled state as shown in detail in FIGS. 2 and 3, and there are concentric folds on the upper and lower surfaces 3 and 4 of the bag 2, respectively. Folds 3a and 4a are formed. The folds 3a and 4a are formed concentrically during bag making by sandwiching and pressing the film from above and below with a mold consisting of male and female jigs, or by injection molding, blow molding, or the like. Further, a cap 5 is provided on the upper surface 3 of the bag body 2.

By providing the concentric folds 3a, 4a on the upper and lower surfaces 3, 4 of the bag body 2 by the method described above, the area defined by the outer edge 2a of the bag body 2 can be considerably reduced, as shown in FIG. It is now ready to be stored in Box 1 as shown in FIG. And the first
As shown in the figure, from the bag body 2 or unfilled state to the cap 5.
When the contents are filled through the nozzle, the contents flow along the entire circumference along the folds of the nozzle 5, and the nozzle 5 expands into an annular shape. During this expansion, there is no restraint, so it expands smoothly in the vertical direction. When this fold begins to swell, the radially adjacent folds open, allowing the contents to flow in, and as in the case above, the space between the folds forms an annular shape over the entire circumference. After the folds radially outward from the fold that bulged out first and the corresponding inner folds swell, the bulge spreads sequentially toward the center, and in the final stage, the entire fold stretches. As shown in Figure 4, the box 1 will be fully inflated.

Therefore, as filling progresses, there is nothing to provide resistance to the annular expansion between the folds, and the expansion spreads between the adjacent folds in order, unlike the conventional method. Unlike when the bag is folded in four or two and stored in a box, there is no forced expansion that occurs when the internal pressure of one folded region reaches its limit, and the folds are folded. No excessive pressure is applied to the parts.

After forming the folds 3a, 4a on the upper and lower surfaces 3, 4 of the bag body 2 by the above-described method, a wire or strip made of a shape memory alloy that is bent into a shape corresponding to the folding walls 3a, 4a is folded. It is provided in close contact with the folds 3a and 4a. Thereby, the bag body 2 can be stored in the box 1 while maintaining its shape without causing the folds 3a, 4a to lose their shape. Also, bag body 2

As is clear from the description of the embodiments described above, according to the present invention, concentric folds are provided on the upper and lower surfaces of the bag to reduce the area defined by the outer edge of the bag. In addition, as the contents are filled into the bag, the concentric folds gradually swell into an annular shape, and the expansion spreads between adjacent folds, so it can be stored in a narrow box. Even when the bag is inflated, no excessive pressure is applied locally to the bag, and damage to the bag can be prevented.
