素子に導く集束レンズを所定位置に位置決めさせ
た状態で光学的読取りを行う画像読取り装置にお
いて、 前記集束レンズの下流側に配し、読取り素子に
導かれる集束光を垂直上方に変向させる変向ミラ
ーと、該変向ミラーとともに前記読取り素子を一
体的に組付けたユニツト体を有し、該ユニツト体
を少なくとも前記変向させた垂直集束向と直交す
る水平面内において位置調整可能に装置本体に装
着すると共に、該位置調整手段を前記ユニツト体
の上面側に設けた事を特徴とする画像読取り装置
