DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION [Field of Industrial Application] The present invention relates to a platen for an impact printer, and more particularly to a platen for a printer in which a rotatable rubber member is provided on a fixed platen. [Prior Art] The platen of a conventional impact printer is configured by mounting a metal fixed platen with a hard surface treatment or a fixed platen with a thin rubber plate attached to the position facing the printing mechanism. ing. [Problem to be Solved by the Invention 1] Since the platen of the above-mentioned conventional impact printer has a hard surface treatment, the printing operation of the printing mechanism causes great damage to the ink ribbon, and the fabric of the ink ribbon may be damaged. There is a drawback that tearing shortens the life of the ink ribbon. Furthermore, a platen with a thin rubber plate pasted thereon also has the disadvantage that the rubber surface is deformed into a concave shape due to printing at one location, leading to paper breakage and poor print quality. The present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned conventional problems, and uses a rubber member to reduce the damage caused to the ink ribbon by the printing mechanism section, thereby extending the life of the ink ribbon, and at the same time reducing the surface deformation of the rubber member. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a printer platen that prevents the occurrence of paper shortages and the like. [Means for Solving the Problems] In order to achieve the above object, the platen of the printer of the present invention is an impact type printer, and includes a fixed platen provided facing the printing mechanism section, and a fixed platen provided around the fixed platen that has at least a printing area. An endless rubber member having a width of The structure has a tension applying means. [Example] Next, the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a side view of a printer equipped with a platen according to an embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 2 is a perspective view of an embodiment of the present invention. In the platen of the present invention, an endless rubber member 2 is mounted on a fixed platen 1, and the rubber member 2 is connected to a motor 3,
A shaft 6 is rotated by a transmission mechanism including a belt 4 and a gear 5, and is rotated by a constant amount. The fixed platen 1 has a substantially rectangular plate shape, and its lower side faces the printing mechanism section 12. This fixed platen 1
has appropriate rigidity, hardness and wear resistance. The rubber member 2 is an endless belt-like member having the width of the printing area. The rubber member 2 is provided around the fixed platen l, and is interposed between the printing mechanism section 12 and the fixed platen 1. This rubber member 2 is rotationally driven with respect to the fixed platen 1 by a rotating means consisting of a motor 3, a belt 4, and a gear 5. That is, a shaft 6 having a gear 5 at one end is passed through the rubber member 2, and a belt 4 is wound between the gear 5 and the motor 3 to rotate the shaft 6. The belt 4 is also wound around the drive roller IO and the rotating shaft of the tractor 8, and is configured to sequentially feed the rubber member 2 in synchronization with the feeding of the paper. Therefore, at the same time that the printing mechanism section 12 prints one row of characters on the paper and enters the second row, the rubber member 2 is also sent so that a new rubber member surface faces the printing mechanism section 12. The shaft 6 provided with the gear 5 is fixed to the casing of the printer by a bearing member 7 that functions as tension applying means. This bearing member 7 is provided with a long hole 7a for attachment to the housing, and a screw is inserted into this long hole 7a to fix it. The mounting position of the shaft 6 can be finely adjusted along the elongated hole 7a, and the rubber member 2 can be maintained in a tensioned state at all times. [Effects of the Invention] As explained above, the present invention provides an endless rubber member having the width of the printing area around the fixed platen, thereby causing less damage to the ink ribbon and extending the life of the ink ribbon. In addition, by rotating the rubber member and sequentially supplying new rubber member surfaces to the printing mechanism, it is possible to prevent deformation of the surface of the rubber member, thereby preventing paper runs out and deterioration of print quality. It also has the effect of preventing
