Abstract

PURPOSE:To make a high-rise building functional as a helicopter base by making departure and arrival of helicopters, hangaring and refueling therefor available with an opening facing a heliport and a helicopter elevator provided on the rooftop, with hangars provided in the lower stories and with fuel oil tanks provided in the basement of the high-rise building. CONSTITUTION:A heliport 2 is provided on the rooftop A of a high-rise building 1. A helicopter 3 that lands on the heliport is transferred, sliding over rails 4A and 4B, to an elevator 4 whose port is opened facing the heliport 2, and is taken down to a hangar 5 with the elevator operated by a motor. Fuel oil tanks 7 and 7 are provided in the basement and temporary storage of the fuel oil is made in the hangars 5 with a refueling device 8 such as oil delivery pump or the like. The helicopter 3 that comes flying is landed on the heliport 2 on instructions given by a control room 6A, and is transferred to the elevator 4 and is further put in the hangar 5, where refueling or the like is made with the refueling device 8 or the like. Thereby the heliport on the high-rise building becomes a refueling base as well, and sphere of action for helicopters can be expanded therewith, resulting in enhancement of information gathering by helicopter services in a big city.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) However, the above-mentioned helipad-equipped buildings are currently only equipped with a helipad consisting of a helicopter landing place and a simple control tower. Therefore, although helicopters could take off and land, the number was limited to one or two at most, and there was no helipad that could accommodate a large number of helicopters. Furthermore, conventional helipads only have the function of taking off and landing, but do not have the function of repairing or refueling helicopters.
