に噛み合わせることにより密閉空間を形成し、上
記旋回スクロールを公転旋回運動させることによ
つて上記密閉空間内に吸入されたガスを圧縮する
スクロール型圧縮機において、上記固定スクロー
ル又は旋回スクロールの少なくともいずれか一方
を軸方向に沿つて移動可能に支持するとともにこ
のいずれか一方のスクロールの端板の外面に摺接
するスラスト部材と、このスラスト部材を軸方向
に沿つて駆動して上記一方のスクロールを軸方向
に沿つて移動させることによりそのうず巻状ラツ
プの先端を他方のスクロールの端板の内面に押し
付ける駆動手段を設けたことを特徴とするスクロ
