気浄化装置を概略的に示した系統図、第２図は同
上排気浄化装置を実行させるための動作フローチ
ヤート、第３図は一般的な酸化触媒コンバータの
触媒転換効率と触媒担体温度との関係を示した特
性図である。 １……メタノールエンジン、２……吸気絞り（
排気ガス温度調整手段）、３……吸気ヒータ（排
気ガス温度調整手段）、４……排気絞り（排気ガ
ス温度調整手段）、５……酸化触媒コンバータ、
６……噴射ポンプ（排気ガス温度調整手段）、７
……制御回路、１０，１１……温度センサ。

Claims (1)
- 排気系の途中に酸化触媒コンバータを設けてな
るメタノールエンジンの排気浄化装置であつて、
燃焼室から前記排気系へ排出されるガスの温度を
高める排気ガス温度調整手段と、前記酸化触媒コ
ンバータの触媒担体温度および／または入口より
入つた前記ガスの温度を検出する温度センサと、
前記温度センサの出力端と前記排気ガス温度調整
手段との間に接続されて前記温度センサの出力信
号に応じて前記排気ガス温度調整手段を制御する
制御回路とを備えたことを特徴とするメタノール
エンジンの排気浄化装置。
