防音型エンジン作業機を提供するにある。

成樹脂等を用いて防音性を向上させつつ大幅な軽
量化を図れること、合成樹脂等のためデザインの
自由度が増し、デザイン性を向上させることがで
き、又カバーを仮令鋼板で成形するとしても薄肉
化でき、四周分割カバーと併せ成形性が向上し、
合成樹脂の場合は更に成形性が容易化し、コスト
上有利であること、カバーが荷重支持を行わない
ため脱着構造が簡素化すること、カバーが四周で
個々に脱着可能であるためメンテナンス作業時に
必要な部分のみ脱着することができ、メンテナン
ス性が良いこと等の多大の利点を有する。
