Abstract

PURPOSE:To make displays inside and outside a transparent surface separately by coupling display bodies such as paint and a sticking material which have directivity to the transmission and reflection of light with both surfaces of a transparent base body and sticking them on a transparent body made of glass, plastic, etc. CONSTITUTION:The display bodies 2 such as paint and sticking materials which have the directivity to the transmission and reflection of light are coupled with both surfaces of the transparent base body 1 and stuck on the transparent body 3 made of glass, plastic, etc. When the main display body is stuck, for example, outside a door made of glass for use, a display A is seen outside and a display is seen inside; and the display B can not be seen from outside and the display A can not be seen from inside. The same effect is obtained even when they are stuck inside. Consequently, the difference displays are obtained inside and outside the door with one seal.

This is often done when expressing the same form of participation, such as franchise stores. It is also affixed to the glass of automobiles, but if it is affixed from the outside, it looks the opposite when viewed from the inside. This is why the expressed characters and figures appear reversed when viewed from the other side. When viewed from the side where it was pasted, it looks normal, but when viewed from the back, it is reversed. This looks bad and does not adequately express the intent of the display. Even if you apply a sticker from both sides so that it can be seen from both sides, if the sticker is transparent, the display on the other side will be reversed and visible on the other side. Depending on the location, it is often possible to paste only one side. For example, it would be very effective if it could be pasted on the inside of a building's window glass and seen normally from outside. Also, it would be very effective if a sign indicating a dangerous place could be pasted on the safe side and it could be seen normally from both sides. Conventionally, there was no concept of displaying the same display object on the viewer's presence and non-existence surfaces by giving optical directionality to the display object.

A display body 2 such as a paint or adhesive having a directionality for transmitting and reflecting light is bonded to both sides of a transparent substrate 1 so that it can be attached to a transparent body 3 such as glass or plastic.

The transparent substrate 1 may be any material that transmits light such as vinyl, plastic, polyethylene, etc. The display material 2 may be any material such as a paint or adhesive material that has directional properties for transmitting and reflecting light. The directionality of light transmission and reflection may be determined by combining a polarizing material 4 such as a polarizing plate and using the principle that when the changed light passes through another polarizing material 4, it is canceled out and the light does not reach the opposite side. . Alternatively, the principle of laser holography may be used using a material that makes light coherent.

The projected light beams inside and outside the room may be changed. For example, the projected light beam is changed into a vertical wave and a horizontal wave. By using a material that emits far-infrared rays and changing the wavelength of that far-infrared ray, it is possible to give it directionality. Using a material that senses radioactivity, it can be colored by radioactivity and displayed in a directional manner to the outside to notify people of danger. Any method such as adhesive may be used for attaching it to the transparent body 3. If the transparent substrate 1 and the display body 2 are combined so that the reflectance and transmittance are matched, it is possible to prevent the display on the opposite side from being seen through the display body. It is also possible to integrate the transparent substrate 1 and the display body 2 and perform special treatment, for example, by exposing and fixing them like a film to display different displays on both sides. At that time, the material is formed so that the reflectance and transmittance are automatically adjusted.

Since the structure is as described above, when using this display, if this display is pasted on the outside of a glass door, expression A will be displayed on the outside and expression B will be displayed on the inside. You cannot see expression B from the outside, and you cannot see expression A from the inside. The same applies if it is pasted on the inside. The light is reflected and transmitted by the outward facing display body 2 in a suitable ratio, and then the reflection and transmission of the transparent substrate 1 and the inward facing display body 2 are formed so as to be matched to a suitable ratio. The above effect is manifested by this. This makes it possible to create different expressions on the inside and outside of the door with a single sticker without spoiling the aesthetics of the interior of the glass door or the like. Also, by pasting a sticker on the inside of the window glass of a high-rise building, appropriate display can be achieved on both the inside and outside. You can express it outwardly without compromising your inner beauty. 7.It is safe because it can be applied from the inside, even in dangerous places such as the windows of high-rise buildings. The transparent substrate 1 may be made of glass and itself may be used as a window glass. As a result, if the walls of the building are formed with this display object, it is possible to create expressions that suit the interior and exterior of the building, which is effective. As described above, the present invention is an effective invention that realizes the unprecedented concept of separately displaying information on the inside and outside of a transparent surface6.
