CONSTITUTION:To down a noise 6 transmitted through a duct, a controller 3 generates added sound, in antiphase against the noise 6, from a sound wave interfering speaker 4 according to the information from a sensor microphone 2. The noise 6 that is lowered in the level is transmitted through an air outlet 5 to a living room 7. At this time, the sound drowning performance of an electronic silencer 1 is adjustable as the controller 3 is provided with a function that is capable of freely changing the volume of the added sound in antiphase against the noise 6, so that an air conditioning noise 8 in case of a high generating accuracy of the added sound or an air conditioning noise 9 in case of a low generating accuracy is freely selected. や消音エルボなどの吸音形消音器や、音波の反射などを
利用した膨張形消音器を設置して行なっている。しかし
、低周波鳴音の対策が難しく、シかも消音効果は可変で
きないため、空調ダクトからの掻音6で決定される居室
7内の音環境をコントロールすることが不可能であった

GM(パックグランドミュージック)用スピーカ11を
居室7内に設置し、利用状態に合せて音楽や雑音等の二
次音を発生させ、会話他の掻音を心理的にマスキングし
、居室の使用条件にあわせた音環境をつくるなどの対策
が行なわれており、そのだめの設備や手間が大変であっ
た。

3に内蔵したパワーアンプの増幅レベルを調整するかま
たは音波干渉用スピーカ4から発生させる付加音の位相
特性をずらす二つの方法とこれを同時に行なう方法が考
えられる。

加えて、騒音とは無関係なりGMに相当する付加音を発
生させ、吹出口から居室内に伝搬させると、より一層音
環境の選択中に融通性をもたせることができる。
