Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a package equipped with a portion excellent in water resistance and gas insulation and a portion excellent in water permeability and gas permeability by a method wherein a non water-permeable sheet is partially laminated on at least one of the surfaces of a water-permeable sheet, and an object to be housed is wrapped so that the center of at least one surfaces of the object is covered with a non-laminated portion and the remaining part is covered with a laminated portion. CONSTITUTION:As a water-permeable sheet 1, nonwoven fabric, gauze, cotton cloth, paper etc. can be cited, and a non-water-permeable sheet 2, polyethylene, polypropylene, etc. can be cited. A known method can be employed for laminating. A package of an object is constituted so that for example, the center of one surface of an object s is covered with a non-laminated portion B, the remaining part is covered with a laminated portion A, and the periphery is sealed. If this package is sterilized, for example, sterilizing gas spreads into the object through the non-laminated portion B, and if taken out to the atmosphere after sterilization is completed, gas remaining inside can be easily replaced with air. The laminated portion prevents water and gas from passing so as to protect the object against re-contamination with bacteria.

Must be sterile. However, if the product is sterilized in a naked state and then packaged, there is a problem that bacteria may be mixed in during the packaging process, so it is recommended that the product be packaged in advance and then subjected to dry heat sterilization or moist heat sterilization before being offered to the market. It is taken. The sterilization process for these article storage bodies is generally carried out using formalin, EOG (ethylene oxide gas), or PO.
The test is carried out by being left in a sterile gas atmosphere such as G (propylene oxide gas) for a certain period of time.

By the way, glassine paper is most widely used as a packaging material for the above-mentioned article storage bodies. This material is a dense material with no pinholes, and can sufficiently prevent bacterial contamination after sterilization, but this has the disadvantage of poor permeability to sterilizing gas, requiring a long sterilization process. It has the disadvantage that it requires

In addition, since the gas permeability is poor, sterilizing gas remains inside the container even after sterilization, and there is a risk of inhaling the sterilizing gas when the container is opened, which poses a safety problem. In addition, after sterilization, the sterilizing gas inside the article container is replaced with air, but this requires a step of performing air replacement treatment after sterilization IA treatment and sealing, resulting in poor productivity and lower production costs. A rise is inevitable.

On the other hand, preventing water from getting wet (moisture-proof) is also a serious issue in the packaging mentioned above, and materials such as glassine paper coated with a plastic film on the inside are also used, but in this case gas permeability is even worse. Therefore, it is necessary to perform gas sterilization treatment in an unsealed state and then sealing treatment, which complicates the manufacturing process and leaves the risk of contamination with various bacteria. We have explained the problems with sterilized packaging here, but the key point is that it should be constructed so that gas (moisture) can pass through it easily in some parts, while the rest should have excellent moisture resistance (depending on the application). It is desired to provide a packaging structure that can exhibit gas barrier properties.

Examples of the water-permeable sheet in the partially multi-layered sheet include sheets made of materials such as non-woven fabric, gauze, &ii cloth, while water-impermeable sheets to be laminated thereon include polyethylene sheets, polypropylene sheets, and ethylene sheets. For example, a copolymer sheet containing propylene as one component is exemplified. There are no particular limitations on the lamination method, and any known lamination method such as extrusion lamination, hot melt lamination, dry lamination, wet lamination, etc. can be employed. The article storage body of the present invention, which is made by packaging articles using a partially multilayered sheet obtained by these methods, can be used, for example, as shown in FIG. The non-laminated part B is located in the center, and the remaining part is covered by the laminated part A, and the periphery is sealed. That is, the non-laminated part B is formed only with the water-permeable sheet 1 stuck along the center line as described above, ensuring water permeability and air permeability, while the laminated part B is formed with the water-permeable sheet 1 being water-impermeable. Since it is lined with a plastic sheet 2, it has the same sealing properties against moisture and outside air as conventional glassine paper laminated with a plastic film.

In the article storage body of the present invention configured in this manner, for example, sterilization of the stored articles is carried out by placing the article storage body formed by sealing the periphery of the bag-shaped partially multilayer sheet in a sterile gas enclosure. The sterilizing gas can be carried out into the storage body through the non-laminated portion B of the partially multilayer sheet, and the stored articles can be sterilized in a short time. Furthermore, if the article container is taken out into the outside air after sterilization, the sterilizing gas inside the container is easily replaced with air, so the product can be highly safe when opened by the user. In addition, the article storage body according to the present invention is covered with a laminate material except for the central part on one side of the stored items, and the laminate part not only prevents moisture and gas from permeating, but also prevents recontamination by bacteria. It also provides excellent defense. Moreover, since it prevents moisture from penetrating, strength loss due to water leakage can be prevented.

However, in conventional pad storage bodies, the top sheet and back sheet were considered to be completely different materials, so it was natural to treat them separately in the manufacturing process. It was inconceivable to form a pad storage body using such a structure. In contrast, in the present invention,
If the non-laminated part of a partially laminated sheet made by partially laminating a water-permeable sheet with a water-impermeable sheet is the part corresponding to the top sheet, and the laminated part is the part corresponding to the back sheet, the top sheet and the back sheet are integrated. It is now possible to use a sheet that is formed as a single piece, and a pad storage body can be formed simply by wrapping the water absorbent body with the integrally formed sheet. Moreover, if the non-laminated part is limited to the central part of the top sheet surface and the remaining part is made into a laminate part, the laminate part covers not only the back sheet side but also the side part of the water absorbent body and the peripheral edge of the water absorbent body on the top sheet side. This can prevent the liquid that has permeated into the water absorbent body from leaking out from the sides of the water absorbent body. In addition, superabsorbent polymer particles may be dispersed or mixed into the water absorbent body for the purpose of increasing its water absorption capacity. Since the super-absorbent polymer particles are fine particles, they easily fall off from the water-absorbing body, and when conventionally covered with gauze, they sometimes spilled outside, but in the present invention, the laminate part acts as a shielding layer, so they do not fall off easily. It can be prevented. Thus, by using a partially multilayer sheet in which the top sheet and back sheet are integrated, the manufacturing process can be simplified, productivity can be increased, and the pad storage body can be provided with a cost advantage. can do.

In addition, in the article storage body of the present invention that stores a fragrance, the laminated portion of the partially multilayer sheet prevents water from splashing in, and the non-laminated portion ensures air permeability, so the fragrance can be released without any trouble. In addition, the above-mentioned advantages such as simplification of the process due to the integration of packaging materials, drop-off prevention properties, and heat-sealability can also be enjoyed.
