ドとともにボンネツトカバー内を水路内へ下降し
て同水路を閉じるゲート本体と、上記ロツドと上
記ボンネツトカバーとの間に介装したロツドシー
ル装置とを有するボンネツト型ゲートにおいて、
前記ロツドシール装置を、上部シール部と、下部
シール部とにより構成し、同下部シール部を、下
部シール材と、同下部シール材に下方から接触す
る下部シール押えと、前記ボンネツトカバーに設
けられて一端が上記水路に開口するとともに他端
が上記上部シール部と上記下部シール部と間に開
口したバイパス孔と、上記下部シール材に上方か
ら接触する上部シール押えと、上部シール部を取
外して同上部シール押えの上面側及び上記バイパ
ス孔内が大気圧になつたときに水路の圧力水によ
り押し上げられて同バイパス孔を閉じる鋼球とに
より構成したことを特徴とするボンネツト型ゲー
