Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the crease-resistance and stability to washing of a silk fabric without impairing touch feeling by impregnating a colloidal melamine resin and a nonionic silicone elastomer into the silk fabric. CONSTITUTION: An acid is added to an aqueous solution of partially condensed melamine formaldehyde resin and the mixture is allowed to stand to afford a colloidal melamine resin and an aqueous emulsion of a nonionic silicone elastomer is added to the colloidal melamine resin to provide a mixed resin composition. The mixed resin composition is applied to a silk fabric. The treated silk fabric has an improved crease-resistance, or the like, while keeping touch feeling of silk itself. The melamine resin is preferably the one which has 3 CH2 OR groups (R is H or a 1-4C alkyl) per melamine nucleus.

In the olden days of invention, silk fabrics had a certain reel, and in order to maintain this and avoid wrinkles, they were carefully washed.
77. During the subsequent drying process, carefully remove the cloth to prevent it from becoming wrinkled or shrinking. 1) When subjected to stabilization treatment, the result is almost always that the feel of silk fabrics becomes similar to that of fabrics made of chemical fibers. The invention is designed to maintain the properties of silk fabrics by eliminating the problems that occur when silk fabrics are washed or dried without taking the usual care and which can result in a loss of stability. It is intended to encourage ways to make this possible.

It uses 1012 types of resins, including 1-ideal melamine resin and non-ionic silicone elastane. (Riichi is available in the market to impart a soft, smooth and dry feel to knitted fabrics, especially cotton and synthetic fibers. The partially condensed melamine formaldehyde resin used in J3 is dissolved in I!, diacid, formic acid or FIL acid, under controlled conditions, and roughly diluted with water. This solution becomes infinitely compatible with water and slowly becomes cloudy with a bluish tinge over time. This solution contains positively charged colloidal particles of melamine resin and There is.
