【考案の詳細な説明】
この考案は油圧緩衝器におけるピストンロツド
又は内筒外周とガイドブツシユとの間に生ずるク

る。つまり、クリアランスが大きいと、その分が
ガタとなり作動性を悪くしたり、ガイドブツシユ
の部分的摺動により面圧が高くなり耐久性を損な
うためである。しかしながらクリアランスを決定
するピストンロツド又は内筒の寸法とガイドブツ
シユの寸法精度は非常に高度なもの(集積公差に
より径で約0.08mm程度)を要するため、製作加工

案するもので、ガイドブツシユにガイドブツシユ
ハウジングを外嵌し、該ガイドブツシユハウジン
グの外周にテーパー形状部を形成するとともにシ
リンダー又は外筒の上端部に締め込みボルトを内
嵌螺合し、該締め込みボルトの内周を上記ガイド
ブツシユハウジング外周のテーパー形状部に見合
う形状となして摺動自在に嵌合せしめ、締め込み
ボルトを旋回下降するとガイドブツシユハウジン

クパイプ1外周に嵌合するガイドブツシユであ
り、該ガイドブツシユ3をガイドブツシユハウジ
ング4が外嵌保持している。該ガイドブツシユハ
ウジング4の外周は断面軸方向に山形をなすよう
にテーパー形状部5a,5bが形成されている。
下側のテーパー形状部5bは、該テーパー形状部
5bに見合う形状をなした内周を有するピース6
を介して、ボトムケース2上部内周にて把持され
ている。又、ボトムケース2の上端部には締め込
みボルト7が内嵌螺合され、該締め込みボルト7
の下部内周を上記ガイドブツシユハウジング4の
外周上側のテーパー形状部5aに見合う形状とな
して摺動自在に嵌合している。尚、8は締め込み
ボルト7の上部内周側に嵌装されたオイルシール
であり、その内周をフオークパイプ1外周に摺接
させている。9は該オイルシール8の抜け止め用
サークリツプ、10はオイルシール8の内周側リ
ツプ部をフオークパイプ1側に締付けるためのリ
ング、11は、後記する板材14の踊り防止用の
ラバー材、12は噴射オイルを防ぎ且つガイドブ
ツシユ3の抜け止め用の板材、13はO−リン

ユのクリアランス調整方法を述べる。まず、ロツ
クナツト14を緩め、締め込みボルト7を旋回し
て下降せしめる。この締め込みボルト7のねじ力
により矢印に示す如く下方向に力が作用するが、
ガイドブツシユハウジング4のテーパー形状部5
a,5bにはその面に対して垂直方向に作用する
力が働く。そしてその力はガイドブツシユ3の外
周に半径方向に作用する力、つまり分力を生ず
る。第2図は要部を示す横断面図であり、前記ガ
イドブツシユハウジング4及びガイドブツシユ3
には縮径を容易にするための切欠部a,bが各々
設けられ、シール性を保証するため各切欠部a,
bの位置をずらしてある(第2図では180度ずら
してある)。従つて矢印方向に働く分力により、
ガイドブツシユハウジング4及びガイドブツシユ
3が順次縮径され、作動性を悪くしない限界ま
で、ガイドブツシユ3とフオークパイプ1との間
に生ずるクリアランスcを小さくする。。以上の
ように良好なクリアランスの調整ができればロツ
クナツト4を締付けて固定する。尚、ガイドブツ
シユハウジングの断面形状は実施態様に示したも
のに限定せず、第3図に示される断面形状のもの
等でもよい。又、前記ピース6とボトムケース2
とを一体成形しても支障はない。尚、この実施態
様ではフロントフオークについて説明したが、単
簡式等の油圧緩衝器にこの考案を適用できるのは
