(Prior art and its problems) When plating an object to be plated, such as a stack of piston rings or a cylindrical object, the object to be plated is held around a shaft, and the shaft is vertically placed in a processing tank. The plating process is performed by applying electricity while rotating the shaft. In addition, Japanese Patent Publication No. 57-61840 shows that a pair of rotatable shafts are extended from the outside to the inside of the liquid tank, and both ends of the horizontally arranged object to be plated are supported by the shafts. However, this means is difficult and impossible to hold the covered objects such as stacked rings and cylindrical objects. On the other hand, recently, a dispersion plating process has been performed in which hard substances such as nitrides and carbides are dispersed and co-deposited on the surface of the object to be plated. In this dispersion plating process, in addition to controlling the amount of current applied, it is important to uniformly suspend nitrides, carbides, etc., which serve as dispersants, in the plating solution in order to obtain a high-quality plating layer. For this reason, compressed air is sent from the bottom of the plating tank,
Attempts are made to forcibly stir the dispersion plating solution to uniformly disperse the dispersant in the plating solution. However, in reality, the upper and lower parts of laminated piston rings, cylinders, and other mated objects do not have the same matting layer, but have different amounts of eutectoid deposition, thickness, and strength, resulting in poor product yield. In addition, when the covered object is removed from the liquid tank, the liquid inside the hollow of the cylindrical object or piston ring is difficult to drain. Therefore, the technical problem of the present invention is to solve the problems of the prior art described above.

(Means for Solving the Problems and Their Effects) In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present invention basically consists of attaching objects such as stacked piston rings and cylindrical objects through a pair of brackets. A technical means is used in which the jig shaft is suspended horizontally in the liquid tank by a pair of hangers, and one engaging piece of the hanger is movable up and down with respect to the other.

With this method, the objects to be plated, such as stacked piston rings and cylindrical objects, can be plated by suspending them horizontally in a liquid tank and rotating them. It is possible to obtain a plating layer, and since the jig shaft supporting the object to be plated can be tilted within the liquid tank, the liquid can be drained more reliably than with a perforated bracket.

(Example) A jig 2 for supporting a mated object 1 such as a piston ring includes a shaft 3, a first perforated bracket 4 fixed to the shaft 3, and a second perforated bracket inserted into the shaft 3. It is provided with a bracket 5 and a nut 6 which is screwed onto the shaft 3 in order to hold the object 1 on the shaft 3. For example, when piston rings are used as the fitted object 1, the stacked piston rings are passed through the shaft 3 so as to be in contact with the first bracket 4, the second bracket 5 is applied to the end surface of the piston ring, and the nut is tightened. By tightening 6,
A stack of piston rings is supported by a shaft 3. The shaft 3 and the brackets 4 and 5 are molded from a conductive material, but the brackets 4 and 5 are masked with a non-conductive material except for the portions in contact with the piston ring (fitting) and the nut 6.

As shown in FIG. 1, a plating object suspension device 13 that can be seated on the side edge of the plating tank 12 is assembled to the plating tank 12. The suspension device 13 consists of a hanger hook 14 and a pair of hangers 15, and the hanger 15 consists of a pair of legs that can extend into the processing tank 12. At the lower end of the hanger 15, a long hole 16 is bored at one end and slightly upward. The step portions of the cover members 8 and 9 inserted into the shaft 3 engage with the long holes of the hanger 15, and the shaft 3 holding the object 1 to be fitted is suspended from the hanger 15. The attached object 1 to the hanger 15 via the shaft 3
Suspension and removal of the suspension device 13 is carried out by taking the suspension device 13 out of the processing tank 12 using a device to be described later.

Rotating shaft 17 passing through the pair of hangers 15
A sprocket 18 is fixed to one end of the sprocket, and a rotary drive chain 19 is engaged with the sprocket 18.
Further, a gear 20 that meshes with the gear 7 of the jig shaft 3 via an intermediate gear is fixed to the rotating shaft 17. Thus, when the chain 19 is driven, the rotating shaft 17 is rotated by the sprocket 18, and the rotating torque is transmitted to the gear 7 fixed to the jig shaft 3 through the intermediate gear, thereby rotating the jig shaft 3. That is, the covered object 1 rotates. At this time, the bush 10 acts as a bearing for the shaft 3, and the cover members 8 and 9 do not rotate.

As shown in FIG. 2, a pair of anode plates 22 and a shield 23 are arranged inside the processing tank 12, and the anode plates 22 are connected to the positive electrode side of a power source. The coated object 1 suspended from the hanger 15 is in the processing tank 12
When the object 1 is fed into the interior, the object 1 to be plated faces the anode plate 22 with the shield 23 interposed therebetween. In this state, the anode plate 22 is energized,
When the plated object 1 is rotated, the dispersant in the dispersion plating liquid is uniformly eutectoid on the outer peripheral surface of the plated object 1,
A suitable plated layer is obtained.

A guide 30 is fixed, a rod 31 is arranged in the hole of the guide 30 so as to be able to rise and fall freely, and an engaging piece 33 having a pin 32 that can be engaged with one notch of the hanger hook 14 is attached to the tip of the rod 31. . A rack 34 extends parallel to the rod 31 from the engaging piece 33, and a pinion 35 is engaged with the rack 34, thereby fixing the pinion 35 to the output shaft of a motor 36 on the arm 27. Thus, when the motor 36 is driven and the pinion 35 is rotated, the rack 34 is raised and lowered, and the engaging piece 33 is raised and lowered by the rod 31 guided by the guide 30, and is moved against the pin 28 of the other hanging piece 29. , the pin 32 of the engagement piece 33 will be vertically displaced relative to each other, causing the hanger 15 and the jig shaft 3 to be tilted.
