て成る光ピツクアツプの光学装置。 A semi-reflective surface is provided that is arranged at an angle with respect to the light emission path of the light emitting element, and an objective lens is arranged facing the optical disk in the direction of the optical path that passes through this semi-reflective surface. In the optical path direction in which the returned light that has passed through the objective lens is reflected by the semi-reflective surface, there is an error detection section for detecting a scanning error of the light spot formed on the recording surface of the optical disk. A monitor light receiving element for detecting the amount of light emitted from the light emitting element is provided in the optical path direction in which the light emitted from the light emitting element is reflected by the semi-reflecting surface. An optical device for an optical pickup that is arranged obliquely to the optical path.
