  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 給紙装置から画像形成装置本体部に転写紙を給
    紙して画像形成処理を施すとともに、ジヤム検知
    手段を備えた画像形成装置において、 ジヤム検知信号を出力した場合、発生箇所が画
    像形成装置本体部の内か外かを判断する判断手段
    と、画像形成装置本体部の外であることを示す上
    記判断手段からの信号に基づいて画像形成装置本
    体部の画像形成動作、および給紙装置の給紙動作
    を続行する動作続行手段とを備えたことを特徴と
    する画像形成装置。
