ーテイングロール周面の塗布液が接触しない間隔
以上となるよう、一対のコーテイングロールの少
なくとも一方をそれら2位置間で往復移動自在に
支持するとともに、前記コーテイングロールの、
搬送方向の手前側に、基板の有無を検知する基板
検知手段を配設し、その基板検知手段からの信号
に基づいて、基板が前記一対のコーテイングロー
ル間を通過する期間はコーテイングロールの対向
面間距離が基板の厚さ以下となるよう、基板が一
対のコーテイングロール間を通過していない期間
は前記対向面間距離が一対のコーテイングロール
周面の塗布液が接触しない間隔以上となるよう、
コーテイングロールを駆動制御する駆動制御機構
