Abstract

PURPOSE:To make the subject telephone equipment sharply reducible in total length when the set is not used and immediately changeable to a usable state when an incoming call arrives by putting the 1st case provided with a loudspeaker and 2nd case with a microphone on each other in a slidable state and pushing an antenna outward when the two cases are extended. CONSTITUTION:When a lower case 1b is pulled out from an upper case 1a in the speech mode, a coupling member 5 transmits the operations to an antenna 4 and the antenna 4 protrudes from the upper case 1a in a interlocking way with the pulling out operations of the lower case 1b. In other words, the antenna 4 simultaneously protrudes when the whole body of this telephone equipment is extended for receiving an incoming call or making an originating call. When the lower case 1b is pushed into the upper case 1a, on the contrary, the antenna 4 is also housed in the upper case 1a in an interlocking way. Therefore, the whole body of the telephone equipment can be reduced in length and, at the same time, the antenna 4 can be housed in the case 1a.

Conventional technology The mainstream wireless FS telephones consist of a base unit that is connected to a telephone line and a handset that the user carries around. It is configured. By the way, when the handset has a structure in which the transmitting part with the microphone and the receiving part with the speaker are integrated, the distance between the microphone and the speaker is the same as in general handsets. Since it is necessary to maintain this and it is not possible to make the case 10 of the slave device smaller by ignoring this fact, the case 10 becomes long to some extent. Further, the total length is the sum of the length of the case 10 and the length of the antenna 11, which is very long, which is inconvenient for storing in standby mode, for example.

Therefore, it is conceivable to make the antenna retractable, so that it is housed inside the main body when stored, and can be pulled out and used only when in use.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention However, simply configuring the antenna to be retractable as described above requires the user to pull out the antenna each time it is used, which requires a corresponding amount of effort for the user.

Furthermore, when receiving a call, the user may hurriedly answer the call without pulling out the antenna and start talking. In the conventional configuration, it is possible to talk even if the antenna is not pulled out if the base unit and slave unit are very close.
Since the antenna performance is not fully utilized, if the handset moves even slightly away from the base unit, radio waves may not be received properly (and the call will be interrupted). In this way, it is configured so that calls can be made even if the antenna is not pulled out. However, it also had some unexpected drawbacks, and in that respect it was also difficult to use.

In order to solve this problem, the present invention can reduce the overall length to a smaller size than the conventional one, and with a simple action by the user, the antenna can be moved out from the house and placed in a ready state for making calls. The purpose is to provide wireless telephones for transition.

Embodiments Hereinafter, embodiments of the wireless telephone according to the present invention will be described. FIG. 1 shows a handset of a wireless telephone. In FIG. 1, a case 1 is composed of an upper case 1a and a lower case 1b. The upper case 1a and the lower case 1b are slidably fitted together, and as shown in FIG. 2, the lower case 1 is inserted into the upper case 1a.
It is designed to be able to store b. 2 is upper case 1a
3 is attached to the lower case 1b,
It's a mic. Reference numeral 4 denotes an antenna held in the upper case 1a so as to be freely retractable. 3U4 and 4 are longitudinal sectional views of the handset of the wireless telephone. Note that internal electronic devices and the like are omitted. In Figures 3 and 4,
Reference numeral 5 designates a connecting member rotatably held on the inner wall of the upper case 1a at the center. Elongated holes 5a and 5b are formed at both ends of the connecting member 5 relative to the center of rotation, and a pin 6 protruding from the base of the antenna 4 is slidably engaged with the elongated hole 5a. A pin 7 protruding from the case 1b is slidably engaged with the elongated hole 5b. 8
is an antenna holding member that slidably holds the antenna 4.

Due to the above configuration, in the call mode, the upper case 1 as shown in FIGS. 1 and 3.
When the lower case 1b is pulled out from the upper case 1a, the connecting member 5 transmits the movement to the antenna 4, and as the lower case 1b is pulled out from the upper case 1a, the antenna 4 protrudes from the upper case 1a. That is, when the entire device is stretched as shown in FIGS. 1 and 3 when receiving a call or attempting to make a call, the antenna 4 also protrudes at the same time. Furthermore, when the lower case 1b is pushed into the upper case l day, the antenna 4 is also housed within the upper case l day. Therefore, when in a mode other than the call mode, that is, in a standby mode or in an unused state, the entire antenna can be retracted and the antenna 4 can also be kept in the retracted state, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 4.

Note that switching between the standby mode and the call mode is configured to be performed in conjunction with expansion and contraction of the case.

Effects of the Invention As described above, the present invention is configured to be extendable and retractable by slidably fitting a first case equipped with a speaker and a second case equipped with a microphone, and slide an antenna into one of the cases. Hold it freely and connect the above antenna and the second antenna.
By providing a connecting member that displaces when the second case is pulled out from the first case and pushes out the antenna from the first case when engaged with the case, the two cases can be connected when expanding and contracting. The member transmits the movement to the antenna, and the antenna appears and disappears in conjunction with the expansion and contraction of the two cases mentioned above, and there are two states: the used state, in which the antenna extends and communication is possible, and the stored state, in which the main body contracts and accommodates the antenna. The user can quickly switch between the two states with the very simple action of expanding and contracting the main body. In other words, the total length can be significantly shortened when not in use.
When there is an incoming call, it can be immediately put into use.
