[Detailed explanation of the invention] This invention is a chair whose seat height can be adjusted freely, and when the seat is turned over and folded to make it less bulky, it can be fixed to the chair body to prevent the seat from turning back. This relates to a chair with a seat that can be raised or lowered.

Therefore, in such a low-bulk folded state, if you accidentally come into contact with the chair, the unstable seat will flip back and there is a high risk, and even if you carry it in a low-bulk state, the seat will be unstable However, it was troublesome and required a great deal of determination.

The object of this invention is to provide a chair with a seat that can be raised or lowered, which eliminates the conventional drawbacks by a very rational method so that the seat does not turn over even after long-term use. That is, in the present invention, another rod is fixed and integrated at a position adjacent to an inverted U-shaped frame through a gap 1, and the rod passes through this gap with the backrest main body 2 so that the lower part becomes the front leg. A guide rod 4 fixed to the seat part 3, stoppers 5, 5' fixed to the guide rod 4 and to be engaged with the backrest main body 2, an engaging part 6 located at an appropriate position in the gap 1, and the seat part. 3 is reversed to the backrest main body 2 side, the seat part consists of a catch part 7 on a guide rod 4 which is to be engaged with the above-mentioned catch part, and the seat part can be raised or lowered freely.

As shown in FIG. 2, the guide rod 4 is provided with stoppers 5, 5' that can come into contact with the front and back surfaces of the backrest body 2 when the chair is in the state, and a stopper 5' that can come into contact with the back side. About the third
As shown in the figure, even in the folded state, it is possible to contact the back surface of the backrest main body 2 as described above.
Further, the stoppers 5, 5' are made of strong elastic material. Further, the guide rod 4 is provided with a notch that engages with a hook 6 provided at an appropriate position in the gap 1 on both sides of the backrest body 2 when the seat 3 is inverted to the backrest body 2. There is.
In order to easily and reliably engage the hooking portion 6 with the hooking portion 6, the hooking portion 6 is formed by bridging thin plates on both end side walls of the gap 1, and the hooking portion 7 has an enlarged insertion opening.
The portion that engages with the engaging portion 6 is adapted to substantially fit into the engaging portion 6. Therefore, the seat part that has been inverted to the backrest main body 2 is simply lowered to a predetermined position, and the catch part 7 is easily and reliably engaged with the catch part 6. In this way, after the seat can be easily and reliably maintained in the inverted state, it is possible to prevent premature damage.

Furthermore, in order to return the seat 3 to the state in which it is used as a chair, it is possible to do so simply by pulling the seat upward and flipping it counterclockwise with one hand. can.

As is obvious, in this invention, the gap restricts the vertical movement of the guide rod, so the gap 1 is provided with a catch part 6, and the guide rod 4 is provided with a catch part 7. The hooking portion engages with the hooking portion simply, quickly, and reliably by just doing so, and the seat portion is not turned over.

In other words, maintaining the inverted state of the seat is achieved using the structural features of this type of chair with the simplest possible structure and inexpensive method. Furthermore, by using the stopper, which is a feature of this type of chair so that the seat can be fixed at any height, the inverted state is made more reliable. Therefore, this invention has made it possible to maintain the inverted state of the seat by extremely rational means.
