両の走行速度を設定された走行速度に保持する速
度制御手段とを備え、車両走行時に車両の走行速
度を自動的に一定に保持する定速走行コントロー
ル装置において、上記速度制御手段の作動状態を
監視し異常の有無を検知する監視手段と、上記監
視手段によつて上記速度制御手段の作動状態の異
常が検知された時に上記速度制御手段の電源回路
への通電を切断し上記速度制御手段による制御動
作を停止する自己切断機能とを付加したことを特
