Abstract

PURPOSE:To efficiently perform the assembling work, to attach a heat source to a roll with a high positional precision, and to reduce the cost of a fixing device by forming a heat source supporting member and the plate part of the fixing device main body into one body. CONSTITUTION:A fixing roll 1 of the fixing device is attached with a side plate 6, which is a part of the fixing device main body, as the reference, and a heating part 3 is supported by a heat source supporting member 7, which is joined with the side plate 8 as the reference of roll attachment into one body, and is held in a certain position in the roll. The heat source supporting member 7 is cut and raised from the side plate 8 with a high precision and is formed into one body. A high positional precision between a roll attachment reference part 81 and a heat source attachment reference part 71 is realized, and the number of assembling parts is reduced, and the assembling process is simplified, and the production cost of the fixing device is reduced.
