ユニツトと、このばねユニツトの少なくとも一方
の面に重合された弾性材と、この弾性材と上記ば
ねユニツトとの重合体を被覆した外装地とから構
成されたマツトレスに於て、上記ばねユニツトの
長手方向ほぼ中央部分には、単体のコイルばねが
複数配設され、他の部分には軸線をほぼ平行にし
た複数のコイル部と、隣合うコイル部の上端と下
端とを連結したほぼコ字状の連結杆とが1本の鋼
線によつて連続して形成され、上記コイル部の一
部と隣合うコイル部の一部とが係合され、上記連
結杆の端部と隣合う連結杆の端部とが隣接して形
成されたばね条片が複数配設されており、上記ば
ねユニツトの長手方向ほぼ中央部分が他の部分よ
りも弾性変形しやすく形成されていることを特徴
