Abstract

PURPOSE:To make a rope change performable without entailing any wide space of a motor-driven winch an an elevator hall by setting up a drum rolled with a new rope in a cage and, after the new rope is attached with the cage lifted, then making the existing rope so as to be recovered in utilizing the drum. CONSTITUTION:A cage 3 provided with a drum 12 rolled with a new rope 11 is lifted up to an uppermost floor, a rope part 11a is drawn out of a rescue port 10 as long as the setting length and it is set up in a machine 2, then an intermediate part of the rope 11 is held by a holder 13. Next, a part 11b is drawn out as making the cage 3 go down, making it hang down from the holder 13 along the existing rope 5, and the cage 3 is lifted up to an uppermost position, supporting a balance weight 4 with a cradle 15 at the lower part of an elevator shaft 1, and the cage 3 is lifted and held by a chain block 16 whereby the rope 5 is made into nontensility, and its intermediate part is cut off, then this cut part and the part 11a of the rope 11 are connected to each other by a connecting part B. Next, a cage side end of the rope 5 is removed and attached to the drum 12 for winding it, and the rope 11 is laid over a pulley 7 and a sheave 6, pulling the cage 3 nearer and separating it at the connecting part B, and attached to a metal fitting 8, thus the rope 5 is installed.

<Prior art> Conventionally, in an elevator, for example,
As described in Publication No. 43, an electric winch etc. is installed on the top floor and the required number of drums on which newly installed ropes are wound are installed on the bottom floor, and the newly installed ropes are pulled out from these drums. Then, rewind and cut the new rope to the required length, tie one end of this new rope to the hoisting rope of the electric winch mentioned above, and attach it to the counterweight pulley located on the lowest floor. The hoisting machine is hung and hoisted, attached to the mounting bracket provided on the counterweight, and then the other end of the newly installed rope mentioned above is tied to the hoisting rope of the electric winch and hoisted to the top floor, and the hoisting machine is installed in the machine room. The sheave of the sheave, the pulley of the deflection wheel, and one rope of the car held at the top floor position are temporarily fixed to the mounting bracket provided on the car, and then the newly installed ropes of the other drums are sequentially connected in the same way. A rope replacement method has been proposed in which the rope is rotated and its tip is secured to the car's mounting bracket.

Means for Solving the Problems To achieve this object, the present invention provides a hoistway, a machine room formed in the upper part of the hoistway, a car and a counterbalance that are provided in the hoistway so as to be able to be raised and lowered. a weight, and at least one rope connected at both ends to the cage and the counterweight, respectively, installed in the machine room;
In an elevator rope replacement method for replacing an existing rope with a new one in an elevator having a sheave of a hoisting machine and a pulley of a deflection wheel around which an intermediate portion of the rope is wound, firstly, After installing a drum around which a newly installed rope is wound on the cage, one part of the newly installed rope is pulled out from the drum by a predetermined length and placed in the machine room, and the newly installed rope is connected to the balance. The weight is held at a predetermined position above the weight side, and then, while lowering the car, the other part of the newly installed rope is pulled out from the drum and suspended in the hoistway, and then the counterweight is moved up and down the hoistway. Supported by supports installed in the road,
The car is lifted by a lifting device provided in the hoistway, and the existing rope connecting the car and the counterweight is held at a predetermined location above the counterweight side, and then the existing rope is lifted above the predetermined location. Cut the rope, connect the cut part of the existing rope on the car side and one end of the new rope placed in the machine room, and then,
One end of the cage side of the existing rope is removed from the cage and attached to the drum, the cage side portion of the existing rope is wound around the drum, and the new rope connected to this cage side portion is attached to the pulley and the sheave. While hanging the rope, it is drawn to the car and separated from the existing rope, one end of the new rope that has been cut off is attached to the car, and the other end is attached to the counterweight, and the car that has been lifted by the lifting tool is lowered. In addition, the car and the counterweight are lifted by the newly installed rope to return to the normal lifting state, and while the car is raised, the counterweight side portion of the existing rope is wound around the drum. be.

(1) A hoistway, a machine room formed in the upper part of the hoistway, a car and a counterweight provided in the hoistway so as to be able to be raised and lowered, and at least one car and a counterweight connected at both ends to the car and the counterweight, respectively. one rope and
The elevator is installed in the machine room and has a hoist sheave around which the intermediate part of the rope is wound, and a deflection wheel pulley, and the elevator is used to replace the existing rope with a new one. In the rope replacement method, first, a drum on which a newly installed rope is wound is attached to the cage, and then one part of the newly installed rope is pulled out from the drum by a predetermined length and placed in the machine room. , holding the newly installed rope at a predetermined position above the counterweight side, and then, while lowering the car, pulling out the other part of the newly installed rope from the drum and suspending it into the hoistway; after that,
The counterweight is supported by a support provided in the hoistway, the car is lifted by a lifting tool provided in the hoistway, and an existing rope connecting these cars and the counterweight is attached to the counterweight. After holding the existing rope at a predetermined point above the side, the existing rope is cut above the predetermined point, and the cut part of the existing rope on the car side is connected to one end of the new rope placed in the machine room. Next, one end of the car side of the existing rope is removed from the car and attached to the drum, the car side part of the existing rope is wound around the drum, and the new rope connected to this car side part is attached to the drum. The rope is pulled to the cage while passing around the pulley and the sheave, and is separated from the existing rope.One end of the new rope that has been cut off is attached to the cage, and the other end is attached to the counterweight, and the rope is lifted by the lifting tool. While lowering the car, the car and the counterweight are lifted up by the new rope to return to the normal lifting state, and while the car is raised, the counterweight side portion of the existing rope is wound around the drum.
