Abstract

PURPOSE:To contrive a forgery prevention by using a member changing in properties according to temperature for an identification part of a card. CONSTITUTION:A member changing in properties according to temperature is formed by applying, for example, a liquid crystal or ink 2 partially and has no change in the appropriate part at an ordinary temperature. The part coated with the member 2 changing in properties due to temperature becomes transparent at a high temperature, and thereon a bar code 3 used for identifying a card is revealed. With the further temperature increase, a cipher 4 for identifying the card is revealed. In this manner, an identification check can be performed any number of times by changing a temperature. Therefore, the card is provided with security of its own and a forgery preventing effect.

Referring to FIG. 1, a bridge card 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention is partially coated with a material 2 whose properties change depending on temperature (for example, liquid crystal, ink, etc.). There is no change in that part.

When the temperature reaches a high temperature, as shown in FIG. 2, the part of the member 2 whose properties change depending on the temperature becomes transparent, and the barcode 3 used for card identification comes out.

Furthermore, by further increasing the temperature from the state shown in FIG. 2, the code 4 used to identify the card comes out as shown in FIG. 3, making it possible to perform identification checks many times due to temperature changes.
