(Field of Industrial Application) The present invention relates to a ridge cover applied to the ridges of rice fields. (Conventional technology) (1) Background Today, rice paddies all over the country are covered with sheets as part of farmland improvement projects.
This ridge sheet is usually a thin plate made of colored hard vinyl chloride with a thickness of about 0.5 mm, and when applied to the slope of a ridge, it has the effect of preventing water leakage, weed growth, and punctures caused by crayfish. However, since it is in the form of a long sheet, it can only be done by two people. In addition, the high soil temperature during the summer months causes the soil to soften and deform, which not only hinders agricultural work, but also
It has shortcomings such as short service life. (2) Problems with conventional technology Therefore, in recent years, FRP covers have been introduced to compensate for the drawbacks of the above PVC sheets. This cover is a plate-shaped body with a trapezoidal cross section with an open bottom end, and is configured to be placed over the ridge.
Because it is made of FRP, it is relatively heavy and lacks mass production. Furthermore, when the internal glass fibers become exposed due to aging or breakage, the fibers can be exposed to human skin. Not only does it sting and cause extreme itching, it also causes eczema that is often difficult to cure. In particular, rice fields are highly likely to harbor dangerous anaerobic pathogens such as Clostridium tetani, so the fact that they are susceptible to even minute injuries is an important hygiene issue. In addition, the above-mentioned known ridge covers lack stability during or after construction because they do not have means for fixing them to the ground. Incidentally, in the recently published specification of Utility Model Application No. 59-5637, FRP
A ribbed structure on the inner surface of the fabric cover has been described, which alleviates the stability problem somewhat, but does not eliminate the risk of injury from exposed fibers. In addition, FRP covers have problems in mass production, and the volatile vapors from the resin material are not good for the health of workers. Another problem common to existing ridge covers is the difficulty in maintaining levelness during construction.
However, in reality, the surface of the levee has countless irregularities of various sizes, and it is not necessarily horizontal, so laying the cover horizontally is a more troublesome task than imagined, and it significantly reduces work efficiency. let Conventional ridge covers were also incomplete in this respect. In addition to the above, semi-permanent levees have been constructed in some cases using concrete blocks, but this is not only troublesome to construct, but also difficult to change. Moreover, concrete blocks are inferior to the above two in terms of waterproof performance. [Problems to be solved by the invention] Therefore, the problems to be solved by the invention are to improve the drawbacks of the known ridge sheets or ridge covers, and to create a lightweight, mass-producible, stable, workable, durable, etc. The purpose is to provide excellent ridge cover.

[Means for Solving the Problems] In order to solve the above problems, the ridge cover according to the present invention is a plate-shaped body molded from thermoplastic resin and has a trapezoidal cross section with an open lower end. The body is provided with a pair of ribs extending in the longitudinal direction at both ends of the upper side of the trapezoid, and ribs on the back side extending in the width direction of the plate from the back of the upper side of the trapezoid to the back of both sides, and , characterized in that each side portion has an outwardly directed stepped portion along the longitudinal direction in the middle thereof. That is, the ridge cover according to the present invention uses thermoplastic plastic such as polypropylene or high-density polyethylene as a raw material, and employs a method of molding it into a hollow shape with a trapezoidal cross section and an open bottom. This hollow body is provided with an appropriate number of ribs on the back surface. Preferably, the main rib is provided along the width direction of the hollow body, and protrudes so as to gradually decrease in height from the back surface of the upper side (top surface) to the back surfaces of both side surfaces. As explained in the next section, the important mission of this rib is to bite into the ridge and provide an anchor effect, so the entire rib, especially the tip, should be given an edge-like cross section as much as possible. is preferable. The proposed flange cover further includes a stepped portion running in the longitudinal direction in the middle of each side portion thereof. This stepped portion further strengthens the strength of the water cover and at the same time serves as a guide to check the levelness when laying the cover on the ridge. The ridge cover of the present invention is molded as a unit body having a length within a moldable range, and the necessary number of units are connected and used. There are various methods for connection such as fitting, screwing, adhesion, etc., but in order to facilitate attachment/detachment operations, it is preferable to connect the convex and concave portions of adjacent covers to each other, or to attach them by magnetic force. It is desirable that the design be such that it can be easily connected by means such as The present cover is provided with a pair of ribs extending in the longitudinal direction along both edges of the top surface of the cover in order to prevent a unicycle traveling on the top surface from falling off. In addition, it is appropriate to provide a small protrusion or other anti-slip device on the top surface between the two ribs. The main cover is usually colored in a dark color such as gray, blue, or black. Dark colors absorb radiant heat and transmit this heat to the ridges, increasing the soil temperature within the ridges, which in turn has the effect of increasing the water temperature to some extent, so rice in areas such as the Tohoku region and Hokkaido suffers from cold damage during the growing season. It is suitable for use as a ridge cover in areas where it is easy to use. However, for areas where there is no risk of cold damage, white or other light colors are preferable to prevent overheating of the banks. [Function] Since the ridge cover according to the present invention has the above-mentioned configuration, it exhibits the following function. It is lightweight yet durable, easy to transport and handle, and can be constructed by one person. It can be installed by simply placing it on the ledge and stepping on it lightly. At this time, it is easy to ensure levelness due to the stepped portions on the sides, so construction is very simple. The inner ribs penetrate into the ridge to fix the cover and at the same time prevent the cover from spreading. In addition, since the outward facing step portions of the sides are supported by the slope of the ridge, the combined effect of these steps makes the installation extremely stable, making it difficult for people to place heavy objects on the top surface. It does not move erratically even when subjected to stress or impact from walking while pushing a loaded unicycle or being hit by agricultural machinery. Since a pair of ribs are provided at both ends of the upper side, the transport unicycle will not fall off. Since the glass fibers are not exposed even after aging, it is safe from an occupational health perspective. [Example] Hereinafter, embodiments of the invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings, but the examples are merely for explanation and are not intended to limit the idea of the invention. FIG. 1 is a cutaway plan view of an example of a ridge cover according to the present invention, FIG. 2 is a partially cutaway side view thereof, and FIG. 3 is a cutaway perspective view showing the connection state thereof. Embodiment 1 (Structural Example) The cover 1 of the present invention is a hollow body having a trapezoidal cross section and having no bottom and side surfaces, which is integrally molded from high-density polyethylene resin by injection molding, and has end side surfaces 1b, 1'. b intersects the top surface 1a at an acute angle of about 87°, and both side surfaces 1c and 1'c are
It intersects the top surface 1a at an obtuse angle of about 93 degrees. Narrow ribs 2, 2... are provided on the back surface of the cover 1 at regular intervals along the width direction, and
Connect a and both side surfaces 1c and 1'c. This material is made so that its thickness gradually decreases from the base to the tip, so it easily digs into the ridge. On the top surface 1a, two ribs 3, 3, . This prevents people walking on the surface from slipping. A pair of narrow outward facing steps 6, 6' are formed on each side 1c, 1'c.
It is provided protruding along the longitudinal direction at a position slightly below the central part of. Each pair of grooves 5, 5, 5', 5' are recessed in both side surfaces 1c, 1'c near both ends of 1. The inner walls 5a, 5'a of these grooves are tapered downward at an angle of about 3 degrees from above to below, and the width is such that the outer wall 5b of one groove 5 is narrower than the outer wall 5b of the other groove 5. It is designed to fit inside the Therefore, as shown by the imaginary lines, if you place an adjacent cover 1' or 1'' on the right side (or left side) of one cover 1, and press lightly with their corresponding grooves abutting each other, one cover As a result, the back side of the groove of the cover fits into the groove of the other cover, so that both covers can be easily engaged or, conversely, both can be attached and detached. In the above example, the two covers are separably engaged. As mentioned above, there are various levels of means for engaging, but considering adverse conditions such as weather and water leakage, it is better to avoid engaging means that use metal as an element.Example 2 (Example of use) Fig. 4 is an explanatory cross-sectional view showing an example of use of the ridge cover exemplified above (each dimension is noted in the drawing).
Since it is buried to a depth of approximately 15 cm within the soil, it almost completely prevents water from flowing out and prevents it from being damaged by crayfish, etc.
As described above, the ribs 2 penetrate into the soil of the ridge f and exert an anchor effect.
