[Detailed description of the invention] This invention is a type in which a conductive metal fitting is press-fitted into a metal fitting accommodation hole provided in an insulating base and fixed by sticking.
It relates to a so-called press-fit terminal block.

Various press-fit terminal blocks have been known in the past, but in all of them, the connection means of the conductive metal fittings, such as screw holes and screws, face the surface of the insulating base.
Electrical hazard. Furthermore, after the wires are connected, there is a risk that the conductive metal fittings may fall out by pulling the wires directly upward. In particular, conventional press-fit conductive metal fittings have serrations carved into the left and right edges of the side plate, and are driven into the hole wall of the base to stick them. It has its drawbacks. In addition, the conductive metal fittings used in conventional press-fit terminal blocks are made by bending both edges of a rectangular horizontal plate downward to form a rectangular side plate, and serrations are carved into the left and right side edges of this side plate. The hole inevitably becomes a square hole. However, it is extremely difficult to form a square hole in an insulating base without deviations in position and dimensions when manufacturing molds, and accuracy is especially important in this type of product where the tolerance range of error is approximately ±0.2 mm. It's very difficult to do.

Next, the structure of an embodiment of this invention will be explained according to the drawings. The conductive metal fitting A is integrally formed with a thin plate, and a perfect circular disk 1 is made horizontally,
A projecting pipe 2 is integrally manufactured on the central lower surface of the disc 1, and a female screw 3a is screwed into the inner circumference of the projecting pipe 2 as a connection means 3,
This female thread is for screwing a connection screw 3b which will be described later. A pair of arcuate side plates 4a, 4b are provided downward from the periphery of the disk 1, and the radius of the side plates 4a, 4b is the same as that of the disk 1, as shown in the first and sixth figures. Note that the number of arcuate side plates 4 does not necessarily have to be one as in this embodiment, but may be three or more, or may be cylindrical. Side plates 4a, 4b
As shown in the fourth diagram, the outward bulges 5, 5, 5
A piercing tongue piece is integrally provided as a piercing means 6 from the lower end of the side plate 4a, and a terminal leg 7 is integrally provided from the lower end of the side plate 4b.
On the other hand, the insulating base 8 is made of a relatively soft and elastic plastic such as polybutylene terephthalate, polycarbonate, or nylon.
Shallow grooves 9, 9, 9... are provided on the outer periphery to form sections 10, 1.
0, 10... is formed. This shallow groove 9 is used when obtaining a desired number of sections from an extremely multi-section insulating base.
This is to make cutting easier. 10 each section
A round hole 11 with a bottom is provided from the top surface, an electric wire insertion hole 12 is provided from approximately the center of the front surface and the wire insertion hole 12 is perpendicular to each other, and a leg insertion hole 13' is provided from the bottom portion 13 of the round hole.
Then, for each section 10, a round hole 11 with a bottom is opened from the top surface.
Insert the conductive metal fitting A into the hole, insert the conductive metal fitting A so that the head of the screw 3b intersects with the wire insertion hole 12, and insert the piercing tongues 6, 6 into the round hole bottom 1.
3 and insert the terminal leg 7 into the leg insertion hole 13'.
is passed through and led out to the outside of the insulating base 8. In the figure, 1
4 is Watsusha. In this embodiment, the diameter of the round hole 11 with a bottom is 10 mm, the diameter of the disk 1 is 9.9 mm, and the bulge 5 is made to protrude outward by about 0.2 mm, so the conductive metal fitting A is When inserted into the bottomed round hole 11, the bulging portion 5 is slightly pushed by the hole wall as shown in the third and eighth figures, and after insertion, the conductive metal fitting A exhibits elasticity due to its restoring force. It can be installed on.

What is shown in Figures 6 to 8 is the second embodiment, fourth and fifth embodiments.
What is shown in the figure is common to the first and second embodiments, and the second embodiment is a two-stage type in which the conductive metal fittings A, A, A, etc. are buried in a staggered manner when viewed from the top. This is the same as in the first embodiment, and the same members are given the same reference numerals and their explanations will be omitted. The two-dot chain line in FIG. 4 shows the case where the terminal leg 7 is attached to the upper stage.

Next, how to use this example will be explained. Place the terminal block on the printed circuit board 15, solder the terminal legs 7 to the printed circuit, and insert the electric wire 16 through the wire insertion hole 12 via the crimp terminal 17.
On the other hand, insert the connection screw 3b into the bottomed round hole 11 and pass it through the ring part 17' of the crimp terminal 17.
screw it on.

What is shown in FIG. 5 is a fitting cap B made of an insulating material such as plastic, which is formed into a bottomless lid shape, with the lower end edge 18 narrowed inwardly, and 1 upward from the lower end. A pair of inverted V-shaped notches 19 are provided, and these are inserted into the bottomed round hole 11 if necessary. At the time of insertion, if the lower end edge 18 is concave, it will be easier to insert the cap, and if the diameter of the lower part B' of the cap B is made slightly larger than the diameter of the bottomed round hole 11, the notch 19 can be inserted easily. Therefore, elasticity acts on the lower part B', and it can be installed more securely in the hole. After inserting this insertion cap B, insert the screwdriver and connect the wiring screw 3b.
cannot be removed. This is because some devices built into the terminal block may continue to be used without turning off the power, and it is dangerous to remove the connection screws or wires while the power is on, so this insertion cap B is used to prevent the connections from coming undone. It is something to do.

次にこの考案の効果を述べる。 Next, we will discuss the effects of this idea.

First, since the conductive metal fitting is recessed into the hole to a position where the connection means is not exposed beyond the insulating base, screws,
Crimp terminals, wire ends, etc. are safely stored inside the base. This eliminates the need for a terminal block cover.

Second, since the round hole with a bottom in which the conductive metal fitting is housed intersects the wire insertion hole, even if the wire is pulled after wiring, only a horizontal force is applied, and the wire is pulled directly upward. is not added, and there is no risk of the conductive metal fittings being pulled out.

Thirdly, the side plate constituting the conductive metal fitting is arc-shaped, and the hole is also round, and the size and position of the round hole can be formed extremely accurately and easily when manufacturing the mold, compared to square holes. This makes it possible to obtain highly accurate products.

Fourthly, the arc-shaped side plate is inserted into the round hole, but since the piercing means is provided protruding from the lower end of the arc-shaped side plate and is stuck to the bottom of the round hole, even if the screw is screwed during connection, the conductive metal There is no risk of rotation and no play.

In this way, this invention can be used safely, there is no risk of applying force in the lifting direction to the conductive metal fittings, and the conductive metal fittings do not rotate, allowing for secure installation and high precision products. be able to.
