The second aspect of the present invention is an angle material in which a plurality of fan-shaped recesses are radially provided in the peripheral part to form an umbrella-like convex part, and the outer edge of the convex part is formed into a ring shape from the inner surface of the brim. When press-forming a disc-shaped iron plate for a tsuba that is recessed by the thickness of the side, the pressing mold has dimensions corresponding to the largest outer diameter of the disc-shaped iron plates for a tsuba of the same shape. Press molding is performed using a common circular main mold and individual ring-shaped molds placed thereon having predetermined dimensions for recessing the recessed outer edge, and then the outer edge is pressed. This is a method of manufacturing a winding drum, characterized in that the ring-shaped angle material is fitted to the part and fixed by spot welding in some places to create a flange.

The tsuba 2 includes a disc-shaped formed iron plate (hereinafter simply referred to as a formed iron plate) 3 and a ring-shaped angle member 4.
It consists of. The formed iron plate 3 has a shaft hole 5 in the center, a plurality of fan-shaped recesses 6 are provided radially around the shaft hole, and the remaining projections 7 are in the shape of an umbrella. In this way, the strength of the formed iron plate 3 itself increases. 10 is a shaft hole ring.

Further, the outer edge 8 of the formed iron plate 3 is recessed from the inner surface of the flange by the thickness t of the side of the angle member 4, and is formed into a stepped shape as shown in Figure C. Therefore, when the ring-shaped angle member 4 is fitted to this outer edge portion 8, the collar 2
The inner surface of the drum is on the same plane as the fan-shaped recess 6, and the collar 2 of the drum is constructed by fixing the joint surfaces 9 at some places by spot welding. In this way, the strength of the base of the angle member 4 is increased by the stepped outer edge portion 8.

First, in order to form a formed iron plate 3 (excluding the shaft hole ring 10) having a fan-shaped recess 6, an umbrella-shaped protrusion 7, and an outer edge 8 as shown in FIG. 2C, a circular iron plate is cut. For example, it is molded by one press using a pressing die (male die, female die) having a predetermined shape and dimensions.

However, the size of the winding drum changes depending on the dimensions, length, weight, etc. of the filament to be wound, and drums of various sizes are required, and accordingly, the types of the formed iron plates 3 increase. . Therefore, press molding of these shaped iron plates 3 requires stamping dies corresponding to the respective dimensions, and the number of types increases, resulting in an increase in the cost of the stamping dies.

As a countermeasure against this problem, according to the method of the present invention as described below, the number of types of pressing molds can be kept to a minimum.
Figure 3 is a diagram for explaining an embodiment of the method of the present invention, where Figure A is a top view with the upper mold (female mold) removed, and Figure B is a cross section showing the state of the formed iron plate taken out from the pressing mold. It is a diagram. In the figure, the same reference numerals as in FIG. 2 indicate the same parts.

To form the formed iron plate 3 by the method of the present invention,
First, an iron plate with an outer diameter that matches the outer diameter of the tsuba is cut from an iron plate with a desired thickness. In this case, the thickness of the iron plate is changed depending on the weight of the drum to obtain the desired load capacity.

Next, a circular main die 21 and a ring-shaped die 22 as shown in A are used as press molds. The circular main mold 21 has different outer diameters, but is common to various disc-shaped molded iron plates for brim (referred to as similarly shaped molded iron plates for brim) that have the same number and shape of fan-shaped concave portions 6 and convex portions 7. In addition, if the load capacity is insufficient, as shown in Fig. 4, a plurality of radial grooves (concave or convex) 17 are provided in the central plane part 16 of the circularly formed iron plate 3' to prevent distortion caused by pressing. Note that the ring-shaped press die 23 on the outer edge of the circular main press die 21 is not necessarily necessary, and may be omitted if a formed iron plate 3 having a smaller outer diameter is to be formed.
By press forming in this way, only one circular main mold 21 can be produced by simply preparing ring-shaped pressing molds 22 with individual dimensions for the molded iron plates for flange of similar shapes with various dimensions. The cost of the pressing die is significantly reduced, and when molding disks 3 of different dimensions, all that is needed is to replace the ring-shaped pressing die 22, which simplifies the work and reduces manufacturing costs. (a) The tsuba is made of a circular formed iron plate with a shaft hole in the center and an angle member formed into a ring shape, and the formed iron plate has a plurality of fan-shaped recesses radially provided around the periphery of the formed iron plate to form an umbrella. Since the bone-shaped convex portion is formed, the strength of the formed iron plate itself is increased, and the outer edge thereof is recessed from the inner surface of the flange by the thickness of the side of the angle material, and the ring-shaped portion is formed on the outer edge. Since the angle members are fitted and fixed by spot welding in some places, the strength of the base of the ring-shaped angle member is increased, so even if the steel plate is thin, it has sufficient strength as a drum and is lightweight. is possible.

(b) When press-forming the disc-shaped iron plate for the tsuba as described above, use a variety of common molds that have dimensions corresponding to the largest outer diameter of the disc-shaped iron plates for the tsuba of the same shape as the pressing die. with a circular main mold,
In order to use individual ring-shaped pressing molds having predetermined dimensions for recessing the recessed outer edge portion placed thereon, fan-shaped recesses with different outer diameters and the same number and shape, and umbrella ribs are used. For forming various types of forming iron plates for flanges having shaped convex portions, it is only necessary to prepare only one main die and each simple ring-shaped die, so the cost of the die is significantly reduced. In addition, when forming formed iron plates of different dimensions, it is only necessary to replace the ring-shaped press die, so the press work is simple and inexpensive, and it is easy to manufacture winding drums for small lots of a wide variety of products. It can be manufactured at low cost.

In an iron drum, the flange is composed of a circular formed iron plate with a shaft hole in the center and an angle member formed into a ring shape, and the circular formed iron plate has a plurality of holes on its periphery. An umbrella-shaped convex part is formed by providing fan-shaped concave parts radially, and the outer edge part thereof is recessed from the inner surface of the collar by the length of the side of the angle material, and the outer edge part is formed with the ring-shaped angle part. A winding drum characterized by fitting materials and fixing them by spot welding in some places. 2 A plurality of fan-shaped recesses are radially provided in the peripheral part to form an umbrella-shaped convex part, and the outer edge of the convex part is recessed from the inner surface of the collar by the thickness of the side of the ring-shaped angle material. When press-forming the disc-shaped iron plate for the tsuba, a common circular main mold with dimensions corresponding to the largest outer diameter of the disc-shaped iron plates for the tsuba of the same shape is used as the pressing die. , and individual ring-shaped pressing molds having predetermined dimensions for recessing the recessed outer edge, which are placed thereon, and then the ring-shaped angle material is placed on the outer edge. A method for manufacturing a winding drum characterized by fitting and fixing by spot welding in some places to create a collar.
