流通路に活性炭フイルター層が配設された空気清
浄機において、前記空気流通路に前記活性炭フイ
ルター層をバイパスさせるバイパス流通路が形成
される一方、悪臭物質などを検知するセンサーが
添設され、該センサーにより悪臭物質などが検知
されたときにのみ、前記バイパス流通路を閉状態
となすバイパス開閉機構が前記バイパス流通路に
配設されていることを特徴とする空気清浄機。 (2) 吸込み口と吹出し口と空気循環用フアンを
備え、前記吸込み口と前記吹出し口との間の空気
流通路に活性炭フイルター層が配設された空気清
浄機において、前記空気流通路に前記活性炭フイ
ルター層をバイパスさせるバイパス流通路が形成
され、送風停止状態あるいは弱運転状態から強運
転状態へ運転の切換が行なわれたとき、該切換の
後一定時間、前記バイパス流通路を開状態となす
バイパス開閉機構が前記バイパス流通路に配設さ
