- 対向する一対の基板の内側に各々電極及び液晶
を配向させる配向層とを有し、その間に液晶層を
設けて成る液晶素子において、配向層が液晶性高
分子より成り、且つ配向処理された電極面あるい
は基板面により該配向層が一軸配向していること
を特徴とする液晶素子。
