Abstract

PURPOSE:To mold a molded product having no hot water crease generated by using a resin composition consisted of the given weight of thermoplastic resin such as styrene resin and amide stearate for a molded product by means of a given injection molding die. CONSTITUTION:A molded product is molded by injection molding by means of an injection molding die with 0.8mm or less gate diameter, or 100 or more L/T. 0.1-1.0pts.wt. of amide stearate constituting a resin composition is used to 100pts.wt. of styrene. Improvement of hot water crease is not in effect, if less than 0.01pts.wt. is used, while heat resistance of the molded product is lowered, if more than 1.0pts.wt. is used, both of which are not preferable, and the resin composition to be used can be manufactured by the normal process.

Conventionally, styrene resins have been used by injection molding into molded products such as audio tape cassettes and various cases. However, when the injection mold gate is small or the flow distance is long, a wavy pattern known as ``water wrinkles'' appears on the surface of the molded product, reducing its commercial value. In this case, wrinkles can be reduced by increasing the molding pressure or molding temperature, but it is extremely difficult to eliminate them completely.

The molded product of the present invention has a gate diameter of 0. hm or less or L/T is 1
This is a molded product obtained by injection molding using a 00 or higher injection mold. That is, the gate diameter is 0.8 mm.
Molded products obtained using molds with L/T greater than 100, or molds with L/T less than 100, rarely produce hot water wrinkles, and even if they do occur, they can be easily improved by adjusting the injection molding conditions. This can be solved by the present invention.

The gate diameter is 0.8@s or less, but if the L/T is 100 or more, hot water wrinkles will easily occur in the molded product, and it will be difficult to improve by adjusting the molding conditions, especially if the gate diameter is If L/T is less than 0.5@s or more than 200, hot water wrinkles will occur severely and cannot be improved by changing the molding conditions. When it is necessary to use a mold that is prone to wrinkles,
The effects of the present invention are very clear.
