軸回りに回転可能な回転部材と、上記静止部材の
外周面と上記回転部材の外周面とにわたつて設け
られ自由状態において双方の外周面に密接する内
径を有するとともに第１端が上記アームレスト本
体に係止されかつ上記アームレスト本体を回動降
下させる方向が巻締め方向となる摩擦ロツク用コ
イルばねと、このコイルばねを巻戻し方向にねじ
ることが可能な操作機構とを備えたアームレスト
装置であつて、 上記操作機構は、上記コイルばねの第２端に接
続されたリンクおよびこのリンクの他端側に接続
されていてこのリンクを介して上記コイルばねを
巻戻し方向にねじることが可能な操作レバーを備
えて構成されており、 しかも上記リンクと操作レバーとの相互接続部
分には、上記操作レバーによつて上記リンクを引
く方向に操作した時には上記コイルばねを巻戻す
方向にリンクを連動させるが、コイルばねの第２
端が巻締め方向に変位してリンクが引かれる時に
はこのリンク側からの入力を上記操作レバーに伝
えない係合手段を設けたことを特徴とするアーム
