PURPOSE:To attain packet exchange and line exchange in a single system by providing a call identification section to identify a form of call and allocating a time slot for a packet exchange and for a line exchange based on the identification by the call identification section. CONSTITUTION:A call coming from a packet form terminal equipment 101 and a line form terminal equipment 102 is given to a call identification section 303 in an exchange 301 via an out-channel on a highway 401. Then based on the identification by the call identification section a time slot allocation section 304 allocates a communication in-channel to a packet time slot or a line time slot on a highway 401. As a result, a packet form communication in-channel data is given to a packet buffer 305 and packet exchange is applied and a line form communication in-channel data is subject to line exchange by an exchange switch section 302. イナミックに変化させて割り付け替えを行なうタイムス
ロット割付部と、パケット形態通信用インチヤンネルデ
ータの交換処理を行なうパケット交換部と、回線形態通
信用インチヤンネルデータの交換処理を行なう回線交換
部とを備えた構成としである。
