In general, the manufacturing method for expressing the grain of natural wood such as oak that has concentrated three-dimensional conduits with laminated decorative veneer is that between a grooved roll having a large number of uneven grooves in the circumferential direction of the circumferential surface and a flat roll. Insert a rotary veneer, press mold grooves on the surface of the veneer, and apply a moisture-curing adhesive to only the veneer with the grooves, or this veneer and the veneer without the grooves. A method is used in which decorative veneers are obtained by laminating and adhering the veneers through a laminate, forming a frit, and then slicing them approximately parallel to the laminated surfaces. However, according to this method, it was necessary to add moisture to the veneer in order to apply the moisture-curing adhesive to the veneer, but the uneven grooves were applied to the veneer, which had been sufficiently moistened from the beginning. Even if the veneer was press-molded, the veneer would soon swell and the uneven grooves would return. Also, when applying water to the surface of the veneer that does not have the grooves after pressure molding the uneven grooves, the water will penetrate to the grooved surface and cause the grooves to return after completion. It was not possible to properly express the concentrated three-dimensional conduit of wood grain in the decorative veneer.

The inventors have made extensive studies to achieve the above objectives. As a result, the moisture content of the veneer was lowered, the surface of the roll was heated to a high temperature when applying the grooves, and the uneven grooves were added to the surface of the veneer that did not have grooves. It has been found that the above-mentioned drawbacks can be overcome and good results can be obtained by performing lamination adhesion after applying sticky water, and the present invention has now been completed.

Therefore, the method for producing a laminated decorative veneer according to the present invention involves inserting the veneer between a groove roll having a large number of grooves in the circumferential direction on its circumferential surface and a flat roll, and forming grooves on the surface of the veneer. This is a method for producing laminated decorative veneers, in which the veneers with the uneven grooves are laminated and molded using a moisture-curing adhesive, and the decorative veneers are obtained by slicing. At the same time, the surfaces of both rolls were heated to a high temperature before the uneven grooves were formed, and after applying thickening water to the surface of the veneer that did not have the uneven grooves, lamination bonding was performed using a moisture-curing adhesive. It is characterized by making it possible to perform the following. Hereinafter, this will be explained in detail based on drawings showing examples thereof.

The rotary veneer obtained by rotary cutting wood goes through a bleaching process, a dyeing process, and then is dried. At this time, in order to express the concentrated three-dimensional conduits that exist in the grain of natural wood such as oak, on the decorative veneer,
A large number of uneven grooves are added to the surface of the dried veneer, which has a moisture content of 15 to 20%. When applying these uneven grooves, as shown in FIG. ) flat roll 3 with a smooth circumferential surface used to sandwich the
Then, the surface of the veneer is heated to about 150°C to evaporate the moisture in the veneer and dry the veneer, while applying pressure to the surface of the veneer to form uneven grooves. The thickness of the veneer and the depth of the grooves are selected appropriately according to the desired wood grain. A model of the veneer provided with the uneven grooves is as shown in FIG. 3. After the grooves have been added, the moisture content of the veneer has further decreased to 5%, so in this state, if a moisture-curing adhesive such as urethane adhesive is used, the adhesive will not harden and the veneer will not cure. laminate bonding is not possible. Therefore, thickened water that has been thickened by adding 0.1% sodium polyacrylate is applied to the surface of the veneer on which the uneven grooves are not provided. After the surface of the veneer coated with the thickened water dries a little, a moisture-curing adhesive is applied to the surface of the veneer coated with the thickened water, and the veneers are laminated and pressed. By pressing, the moisture in the thickened water applied to the veneer comes into contact with the adhesive, and the adhesive begins to harden.

The laminated and bonded veneers are pressed and fritted. FIG. 4 is a model perspective view showing this state. In the figure, 4 is a veneer having grooves, 5 is a gap serving as a conduit, and 6 is a veneer without grooves at the top of the veneer assembly. In addition, if necessary,
A veneer without grooves may be sandwiched between veneers with grooves.

In the method for manufacturing a laminated decorative veneer according to the present invention, in the example, the moisture content of the veneer was 15 to 20% before the uneven grooves were added to the veneer, but it is not limited to this range. , the moisture content may be such that the shape of the provided grooves hardly changes.
In this sense, it is preferable to select a moisture content of about 10%, for example.

In the method for producing laminated decorative veneers according to the present invention, the thickening water used in the examples was a liquid containing 0.1% sodium polyacrylate, but there are no particular restrictions on the concentration of this additive. It is sufficient that the viscosity is such that the thickened water applied to the surface of the veneer without grooves does not penetrate to the groove-provided surface of the veneer. Additionally, the types of additives are not limited to sodium polyacrylate.
It may also be polyethylene oxide or the like.

In the method for producing a laminated decorative veneer according to the present invention, in order to ensure that only the adhesive-applied surface is not wet, the adhesive is applied after the veneer surface is slightly dried after application of thickening water. However, depending on the degree of impregnation speed of the thickened water, the adhesive may be applied immediately after the thickened water is applied.
Drying may be omitted.

As described above, the method for manufacturing a laminated decorative veneer according to the present invention involves inserting the veneer between a groove roll having a large number of grooves in the circumferential direction on the circumferential surface and a flat roll, so that the surface of the veneer is uneven. A method for producing a laminated decorative veneer in which grooves are provided, and the veneers provided with the uneven grooves are laminated and molded via a moisture-curing adhesive, and the decorative veneer is obtained by slicing, and the moisture content of the veneer is At the same time, the surfaces of both rolls are heated to a high temperature before the uneven grooves are formed, and after applying thickening water to the surface of the veneer that does not have uneven grooves, lamination is performed using a moisture-curing adhesive. It is characterized by the fact that it is capable of adhesion. That is, when grooves are formed on the veneer, the moisture content of the veneer is kept low and a high-temperature roll is used, so that grooves can be easily formed and can be made as designed. The moisture used to give the veneer the moisture content necessary for the moisture-curing adhesive to harden is thickened, so it does not reach the grooves formed on the side opposite to the applied surface. .
Therefore, without causing changes due to swelling of the uneven grooves, it is possible to express a concentrated three-dimensional conduit of wood grain as desired, and it is possible to realize stable quality.
