Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance the reliability in the measurement of a distance and to establish a highly safe train control system by measuring the distances from the respective measuring points before and behind a train to be measured to said train and checking that the sum of both measured values becomes constant. CONSTITUTION:Measuring points of the position of a train are set to (a)-(c) and position measuring signals are allowed to flow to a rail from the respective points to calculate the shortcircuit impedance of the wheel of the train and the distances L1-L4 up to the train are measured. The distance L between trains is calculated from L2+L3. The distance L2 can be checked to be correct from the relation of L1+L2 = constant by measuring the distance L1. In the case of checking on the ground side, the measured distance L3 and the distance LT between the measuring points (b)-(c) are transmitted to a vehicle from the ground and the distance L5 integrated after the passage of the point (c) is used on the vehicle and the distance L3 can be checked to be correct based on whether the relation of L3+L5=LT holds. Therefore, the distance data L=L2+L3 up to a preceding train B sent to a succeeding train A becomes certain checked data.

[Prior Art] When performing train spacing control, the position of the train must be reliably measured because an error may lead to a serious accident.

(1) A method of measuring distance by using the fact that the current, voltage, or impedance of the signal flowing through the rails changes depending on the short circuit position between the eight train axles. (2) A method of measuring the distance by installing several dozen cross-guide lines between the rails. A method is used that uses guide lines that intersect every meter to count two pulses.

[Means for Solving the Problem] In order to solve the above problems, a train position measurement method is provided in which the train position measured on the ground is constantly checked on the ground or on the train, and the reliability of distance measurement is improved. I will provide a.

Specifically, (1) as shown in Figure 1, measure the distance L1 from the front point A of train A to the leading position of the train, and at the same time measure the distance L2 from the rear point A to the tail end of train A. , when train A is between fixed points A and A on both sides, the sum (L1+L2) of each measured distance is constant.

(2) As shown in Figure 2, the distance between measurement sections A to A is LT.
The distance L1 from the point A in front of one train A to the head position of the train A is measured in the section , and the measurement result and the measured section length LT are transmitted onboard. The vehicle detects when it enters the measurement zone and adds up the distance L2 traveled from that moment. It is checked whether distance measurement is performed correctly by checking whether the relationship L1+L2=LT holds.
