Description

【考案の詳細な説明】 (産業上の利用分野) 本考案は巻尺に関し、特にテープと先端部材と
の止着構造に係るものである。

(従来の技術) 従来の巻尺ではテープの先端には先端金具がリ
ベツト等のみにより止着されているのが一般的で
ある。ところでテープの構造は例えばガラス繊維
等の多数の糸状体が縦方向に引揃えられたものが
芯となつてその外周部に合成樹脂が被覆されたも
のが一般的である。従つてこのテープをリベツト
等の軸部が貫通して先端金具が止着されていると
テープに強大な引張力が作用するとリベツト等の
軸部箇所に応力が集中して同所よりテープが解れ
やすく先端金具が外れてしまう虞れがある。

先端部材3をリベツト止め、又は溶着等の任意の
方法により止着して構成されるもので、上記の目
的を十分に達成するものである。

膨出部2が嵌合する溝5,5′を設け、テープ1
の先端膨出部2を先端部材3の溝5,5′に嵌合
させると共に同嵌合部を含む全体の挾着板部4,
4′に於て芯棒7、テープ1、口皮6及び挾着板
部4,4′を一体に超音波溶着せしめて構成した
ものである。

一部分が解れるようなこともなく先端部材に対す
