Claims (1)
対称な略長円形断面を有し、前記断面の長径側一
端部にねじれ規制面を備えた素線を用い、該素線
に、その長径延長線がコイル軸線に交差するよう
にコイリングを施してコイルばねを製造するに当
り、前記素線を一方向に送る供給ローラ対と、該
供給ローラ対により送られた前記素線を嵌挿して
ガイドすべく、該素線の断面形状と相似形をなす
ガイド孔を有する先端ガイド型と、該先端ガイド
型の近傍に配設されて前記ガイド孔を通過した前
記素線にコイリングを施すコイリング部材と、該
コイリング部材により成形されたコイルをコイル
軸線方向に移動させるピツチツールとを備え、前
記供給ローラ対は前記素線のねじれ規制面側に摺
擦するガイド溝を有する第1ローラと、前記素線
のねじれ規制面と反対側に存する凸弧面側に摺擦
するガイド溝を有する第2ローラとよりなり、前
記ガイド孔を前記素線のねじれ規制面に適合させ
て該素線にそのコイリング時のねじれ方向と逆方
向のねじれを付与すべく、前記ガイド孔の長径延
長線を前記コイル軸線と平行な直線に対し傾斜さ
せて該長径延長線に傾き角を持たせたコイリング
装置において、前記供給ローラ対の両ガイド溝に
より画成される仮想素線断面の長径延長線に、前
記ガイド孔の前記長径延長線の傾き角に等しい傾
き角を持たせたことを特徴とするコイリング装置
