Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the small sized portable edge polisher capable of performing the rapid and accurate polishing by forming a polished surface configuration adapted for an arbitrary edge groove configuration on a small piece made of plastic or the like and sticking, on the above surface, a diamond or the like with adhesive or the like. CONSTITUTION:On a small piece, there is formed a projecting surface configuration 2 adapted for the sectional cinfiguration of an ice skate edge or the lie. A polishing body 3 is composed of the small piece on which high hardness abrasive such as diamond is rigidly bonded through an electrodeposition process or using, plastic, adhesive or the like. In the title polisher, there is housed a motor 4 or solenoid vibrator 5 through a mechanism for reciprocating the mounted polishing body 3 and, on the upper part thereof, there is mounted an inducing groove mechanism which can be adjusted according to the thickness of the ice skate edge. Further, the polishing surface 2 of the polishing body 3 can be changed in the desired configuration and the induced groove mechanism can be exchanged in the desired configuration.

の不均一などから第4 図の(8) のごとく波をうち
、いわゆるハツリ跡のような仕」二がり面に成りやすく
、しかも摺動送りが一瞬でも停まれば、グラインダーの
食い込みを来し、(9) のように、原型を無くしてし
まうため、手研ぎ以上に高度な技術と熟練を要する。

部分も、使用目的に応じた形状に製作して着け換える事
により成る、工作機械工場等における切削工具(バイト
)の補修等用携帯小型ダイヤモンド研磨機。但し、ここ
に言う、ダイヤモンド研磨機とは、類似の使途に供され
る、異種材質を含めた総称で有ります。従って、ジルコ
ニア、サファイヤ、またはセラミック等でも、優劣はあ
るがさしつかえない。
